The difference between a four and a five star hotel is in the details. At KB Ammos the details are on point! The service level and friendliness of the attentive staff is perfect! From day one they seem to know us and our preferences. To be at this 18 room, adults only boutique hotel is heavenly.
Just a few things would make the stay even better, like partnering up with one of the sun bed providers on the beach.
All and all the stay here is outstanding and we would be more than happy to come back to this little oasis in lush surroundings.
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. They were very gracious and let us check in early on the first day and although we had to check out by noon on the last day, we stayed for a couple hours extra by the pool and ordered from the bar. It was very easy for us to hire a quad bike to explore the island with, they delivered it right to the hotel door and we just left it parked out front at the end of the rental. Rooms on the main floor have personal pools in front of them. These are not heated and are very small and are inches away from the main pool area if you’re on the backside. It made for a very nice atmosphere but wasn’t all that practical; alittle different than we imagined, but we still enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast had lots to choose from and the staff were always friendly.
Thank you so much to the KB Ammos Hotel! My husband and I stayed there recently for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, on our second day in Skiathos, I sprained my ankle. We were stuck in town and were not able to get a taxi to the hospital. WIthout medical insurance, we were reluctant to call an ambulance. We called the hotel to see if they had any taxi contacts. The woman at the front desk assured us that she would have a van driver from the hotel come pick us up and drive us straight to the public hospital. She also had the same van pick us up when we were done. The driver of the van was wonderful, offering us cookies on the way back. They helped me back to my room and assisted my husband in finding a local pharmacy that had crutches and the medicines that I was perscribed. For this alone, I’d give them 6 stars, but it should be noted that the hospital was wonderful in its own right! The breakfast served every morning was delicious. Our room was clean and our bed was the most comfortable of our multiple city trip. Every worker, including the cleaning staff, was friendly and helpful. I only wish we had more time in Skiathos. We will return!
An fabulous hotel! From the minute you arrive you’re made to feel very welcome. The complimentary glass of fizz on arrival is a lovely touch. Room 110 was perfect, a large terrace area with a hot tub, where we enjoyed a bottle of prosecco one afternoon.
We ordered it at the bar, and Stellios delivered it to our room in a bucket of ice after it was chilled. Every area of the hotel is spotlessly clean. All staff go out of their way to make it a memorable stay. No issues getting a sun lounger, sometimes we were the only people at the pool. A big thank you to Stellios who kept our drinks topped up throughout the day, offering waiter service to sun beds. Breakfast and bar snacks always very fresh and tasted amazing. Thank you to all staff.
