We had a pleasant stay here. I would rate it 3 stars, not 4 stars, it was very clean but not impressive or what I would expect for that rating. The pool is very beautiful with the sea view in the background. We did not spend a ton of time at the pool. The rooms were fine, but very outdated and basic amenities- giving a 2 star feel. Was bummed they didn’t have gluten free options available (outside of a salad). Didn’t think the location was as optimal as advertised- we should have done more research and Googled all the transit/etc. They do have a free shuttle to the beach every hour, but we wish we had just stayed at the beach or in Naxos city. Taxis to Naxos are expensive (25€ flat, 40 for a minibus in a big group). We tried the bus into Naxos, which is a 13 minute walk from the hotel and 2€, but it never came- we waited 45 minutes after it was supposed to come then hailed a taxi. Walking to the nearest town Plaka is a windy road/20 minute walk. We knew this when booking, but would be worth it to pay to be in Naxos or in a hotel 5 minutes from the beach. The hotel itself was also quite loud: you hear everything from your neighbors in the halls which was quite disruptive- even if your neighbors are quiet- each turn of the key can be heard. The staff was very very nice.
We had an absolutely amazing time at Kavuras Village. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.
We recommend renting a car if you want to explore the island. We will definately be back when we revisit Naxos!
Great location, awesone views and walking distance from the beach. Ideal for families with super comfortable and clean rooms. Staff is friendly and goes the extra mile should you need anything that might not be in the room. Big plus is that they have their own section of beach lounge chairs at the beach and always available any time of day.
I would not consider this place for a relaxing holiday. The only good thing about it it’s the position near the centrum. The rooms are uncomfortable with very small matrass and even smaller pillow. The toilet it’s uncomfortable. The breakfast it was about 5 minutes walking from the room uphill. The room was never cleaned but just changed with new towels. I’ve seen and stayed in better places
This is a beautiful hotel and has wonderful service and staff. The breakfast was amazing and poolside bar had lovely food. The location could be better however no large complaints as there is lots to do in the hotel.
