Staff is very helpfull and nice👌 three swimmingpools are great but breakfast could be more diverse.
Hotel complex close to the sea. Rooms would need to upgrade. Swimming pools should also be available in the late afternoon. Meals – all inclusive, large tasty selection every day of Greek cuisine. Friendly staff. Nice quiet area, worth to visit.
Quite a nice hotel despite its visible age (some of the light fixtures have “made in west Germany” still printed on them). The food was great, the rooms were quite spacious and distance to the beach reasonable.
I would say the the only real drawback was noisy and inefficient AC.
Family of 4 stayed at Kampos Village mid July. 1hr coach journey from the airport. Upon arrival we were pleased to see a very clean resort, lots of palm trees and greenary. There was a 30min wait for our room keys which was a bit disappointing. We were lucky to stay in one of the newly built rooms with a Pool view. Room was complete with TV, air con and very comfy beds. We had the All Inclusive package which included Food, Drinks and snacks throughout the day. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were great (a little repetitive) but we’re tasty. The local beer/spirits were not good. Very little alcohol in the beer and the spirits were really poor quality.. We ended up buying the branded beers spirits every evening which I found to be disappointing as we had paid for All Inclusive.. Kids were happy with free refills of ice cream and snacks all day.
The beach is a short walk from the hotel. Very windy. Pebbled beaches are very painful to walk on and to get in and out of the water so I would advise water shoes. Very cold sea water, beautiful in colour but 21deg at best.
Pool watercwas fine with no charge for sunbeds and parasols.
The staff were fantastic. Cleaners were always very polite as we’re the catering staff especially (Despina and Alexis). They have a grill every Sunday which is great and Live music a few times a week. Our children were happy with the kids club doing different activities from yoga to dancing.
It’s worth hiring a car/motorbike to see the rest of the island. Lots to see and do. We enjoyed our holiday and Kampos and probably would have gave it 5 stars if the local beer/spirits wernt so bad.. I would certainly recommend this hotel and again, would like to thank all the staff for making us feel very welcome.
A nice and affordable hotel in Samos. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean.
The food is ok but basic. They got three pools and they’ve got beds at the beach. But you have to pay for those and they are not included with the all in service. So we stayed most of our time at the neigbours (Heaven Bar) where the beds are free if you order something to drink.
