Whether you prefer a peaceful dip or wish to sunbathe on the rocks, the tranquil surroundings create the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Dining Delights or Disappointments?

While enjoying this beautiful location, many visitors find themselves tempted by the on-site dining options. However, recent reviews from guests hint at a disappointing culinary experience. Feedback suggests that the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, with some dishes criticized for lack of flavor and poor service. Consider your dining choices carefully before settling in.

Pricey Pleasures

Be mindful that dining at Kallithea Springs may come with a steep price tag. A local review cautions visitors about the exorbitant charges, indicating that even sitting at a table can cost anywhere from 15 to 100 euros. This hefty cost for dining may detract from an otherwise remarkable experience.

A Tale of Two Experiences

Many reviews echo a similar sentiment about the food and service. Patrons have described their experiences as disappointing, sometimes leaving them with little more than dissatisfaction. The atmosphere may be lovely, but poor service and overpriced menu items could leave you wanting more.

Savoring the Scenery

Despite some culinary critiques, Kallithea Springs remains popular for its mesmerizing views and serene ambiance. The breathtaking scenery provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and picture-perfect moments. So even if the meal falls flat, you can still enjoy stunning landscapes and create memorable experiences.

A Note on Service Standards

The reviews also spotlight a recurring theme: the quality of service at the bar-restaurant. Visitors have remarked on unwelcoming staff and slow service, detracting from the overall enjoyment of their time spent at the springs. It’s a reminder that exceptional hospitality is a signature of Greek culture, something that some have felt is lacking at Kallithea Springs.

Buzzing Beats or Peaceful Retreat?

While the lively atmosphere might appeal to some, others have mentioned that the loud music from the restaurant can disrupt the peaceful experience that Kallithea Springs aims to provide. Consider visiting during quieter times to fully appreciate the tranquility this stunning destination is known for.

The Importance of Timing

Plan your visit wisely and allow ample time to explore Kallithea Springs. Visitors have noted delays and slow service when it comes to dining, which can lead to frustrating experiences. Anticipate potential waits and make adjustments to your schedule accordingly to ensure you make the most of your time at this beautiful site.

  1. It looks good, but food is without taste. We had a club sandwich and salmon baguette and frape. The frape tasted like water, sandwich no taste even after adding some salt and ketchup. Not worth the money.

  2. To any guests of our beautiful island BE CAREFUL. Kalithea springs as a monument is a phenomenal sight to see but DO NOT make the mistake to even order a water from this bar-restaurant. As a local I can tell you that its prices and fees they charge you even to sit at a normal table is not the usual for our island. It’s overpriced and the cost for a table near the sea (not even a sunbed) is from 15 euros up to 100€. It’s a disgrace for the island and I’m sorry for their behalf to everyone that is unlucky to sit on their restaurant.

  3. Food and drinks were low quality, overpriced. The food wasn’t particularly good and the Prosecco was disgusting. Tasted and smelt like plastic, didn’t drink it and when we approached the waiter about it, he just shrugged and walked away. Still had to pay for it.

  4. Total disappointment – zero hospitality. I was not served in this place. While my family enjoyed the swimming, I wanted to drink something but I was told that this place is not allowed for swimmers, while I was fully dressed. Told her I will not go swimming, I want to order as I am a customer, but it did not helped. So, it is a place, with no sign of the traditional Greek hospitality – located in a beautiful neighbourhood.

  5. Food took so long to arrive that we had to leave without eating (I let them know upon arrival that we only had about 30-40 minutes, and they agreed to take the order and serve within that time). Paid €50 for nothing. No refund. We waited additional 10 mins to at least take the food to go, but that also didn’t arrive. Very disappointed. Beautiful location, loud music from the restaurant ruins it though. Very bad experience overall. Terrible and slow service.
