Incredible water, crystal clear turquoise color. Calm water even in high wind weather. Lots of parking spaces. We went all the way to the end which has the calmer water and less wind. No sun beds available on that corner. We brought our own umbrella but couldn’t set it up due to wind. You need extra ropes to support it. But the sun was not scorching. Good for families, kids as well. Kids were jumping from the concrete port. Not crowded. If you are in Mykonos you should come here.
The beach is amazing! There s a lot of space for towels. The water is crystal clear, but the bottom is rocky. So, I would suggest to bring with you your water shoes.
Very quiet. Also you can stay under some tree shadows. Really recommend.
Beach was an easy bus ride from the old town. Just note, bus station is at the old port (by water) not the main bus station in middle of town. 15 euro return for 3. Takes around 3Omin.
Sun bed all taken when we arrive (1:30pm) but heaps of space on the sand. Water clear and have a beach bar. When people left for the 3:25pm bus we just took a sunbed. Beer served in frozen double wall plastic mugs – 6 euro for 500ml.
Petrino restaurant brilliant, Great food and service. Good prices.
Worth a visit and avoid the crazy over priced places of the party beaches.
Kalafatis beach exceeded all my expectations. The calm turquoise waters are simply breathtaking, and the soft, sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing. I particularly enjoyed the laid-back vibe and the lack of crowds. There are also plenty of water sports options available for those seeking adventure. With its stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere, Kalafatis is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Mykonos.”
I had an amazing time at Kalafati Beach! 🏖️ This place is perfect if you’re looking for a chill spot to relax and soak up the sun. The water is crystal clear and great for swimming or snorkeling. Plus, it’s less crowded than some of the other beaches on Mykonos, so you can really unwind. Definitely recommend spending a day here if you’re on the island!
