‘Monday is bbq night!’ A mantra I intend to take home with me after my wonderful stay in Kos. Every Monday night is a big party with delicious Greek bbq, upbeat music and a community of patrons (first timers and regulars) coming together to drink and laugh. Iris hotel is truly the best place to stay if you’re planning a trip to this beautiful island.
The staff are so polite, friendly and ready to help. The atmosphere at this hotel is like no-where else I’ve ever been. The view from the bedroom we stayed in was incredible and the room was spacious, clean and luxury without the price tag. I don’t think you will find a better hotel on the entirety of Kos than Hotel Iris.
On top of this, they have a fantastic pool and a bar to match that serves food and drinks all day – as well as a breakfast buffet with and excellent selection.
Went here in July, amazed by the staff who were so friendly and we had no waiting times upon our late arrival (2-3am). Staff went above and beyond for us! Lovely room with great views and the location is so close to the beach and shops. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but did the job. So many cats around and all treated with kindness by the staff. Overall great hotel very affordable and very worthwhile booking here 🙂 thank you 💕
Love this place. Only 10 minutes from the beach. 30 minute stroll into Kos Town. Bicycle hire on site. Brilliant supermarket across the road. Lovely bar. Massive pool. Great staff. Our studio apartment was, as expected, basic but kept clean by housekeeping staff.
Stayed here for 2 weeks and the breakfast is included but it’s the same boiled eggs with slice Gouda cheese and ham or Turkey slice and toast wit butter. There can be some fruit and cucumbers or other things like tomato added to the selection but no they don’t seem to like changes. Had to buy my own banana and fruits I would like for breakfast myself. I understand you pay what you get but seriously the showers you can’t even have a shower as the head is broken not even a basic shower curtain. The beds are not comfortable at all. I think the rooms downstairs are good but the ones upstairs are not good. Overall you want a cheap holiday not worried about bed or breakfast good place to be.

Very dated hotel the superior room had nothing ,no iron ,no kettle,no tv etc it was clean at least but the superior room should be the standard room ,now the standard room is alot to be desired very very dated .
Arrived at hotel to no one on reception so had to look for someone to get keys for room .
Breakfast was very basic so never had much choice .
If you are a returning customer you are treat better like a family who have been going for years , dont know why tbh who everyday left towels on sunbeds but never used them .
Would not reccommend this hotel to anyone .
