Booked there in November 2023 for our Honeymoon.
This was an amazingly disappointing experience.
We arrived mid-day to this hotel. It was almost empty, maybe one other customer was there. We went to the reception to ask for our room. The receptionist, rude and not very welcoming showed us our room= a room 1st floor, semi underground, with no windows.
We saw that they had plenty other rooms empty so we tried to ask for a different room and the receptionist, again, rude, told us that it was not possible because none were available…
We were supposed to stay there for several nights, how can you ask people in Naxos in November to stay in a room without no windows at all? during their Honeymoon nonetheless??
No exchange no refuns were possible, this receptionist did not want to cooperate or hear anything. No manager was available and no discussion possible.
We went instead to the Venetian suites (chose the Grande Suites) in the city center of Naxos and the contact we had was really way more friendly.
Nice hotel in front of the beach. Rooms are very clean. Good breakfast by the beach with the best latte so far in our vacation in Greece. Thank you Helena 😉
Came for dinner at a friend’s recommendation. Great food, nice service, very nice ambience for conversation with friends without the noise you will find at the main strip.
Cocktails in Greece run sweet (which I like) and the one I got lived up to it. Do not skip the fish soup. I wish I remembered what my friends got but they loved it. One got the pistachio milkshake or something like that.
Well, honestly, this is by far the BEST place I’ve had the pleasure of visiting on any vacation. Over the course of 6 days, we visited Ippokampos Beach front restaurant SEVEN different times. Yes, that’s how awesome this place is! We had breakfast multiple times, lunch on the beach chairs, just drinks, and dinner twice. Let me tell you..you will not get better service anywhere. Dimitra (the beautiful woman who is always there), Ervis, and another young man who I’m unsure of his name, were all just so warm and welcoming. The food is fresh, delicious, and unique too. Here are a few pics. I absolutely loved our experiences here and can’t wait to come back again to stay here and eat here too! I love you Dimitra. Thank you for making my Holiday so special❣️ I’m going to miss you. Stay beautiful, healthy and blessed. Until next time….
