The pool bartender was wonderful, she stays late and is friendly. BUT, as when I asked to use the WC in the lobby area in the morning, the two women (presumably one being a manager) at the desk spoke to each other in Greek then refused me, sending me way outside to a marina bathroom. I think that’s all you need to know about the hospitality here 🙁
The rooms in the hotel are large and spacious, and the decor suggests they were renovated a few years ago. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives about the rooms end. They are dirty and neglected. We found many stains and dirt on the curtain, and there were yellow stains and stuck hairs on the bathroom tiles. After reporting this issue to the reception, nothing changed. Only when we showed the stains to the cleaner, they were wiped off.
The hotel lacks a good manager who could discipline and properly manage the staff.
The hotel’s location is very good, and the view from the window is wonderful. Unfortunately, several times there was no hot water, and we had to wash in cold water.
The breakfasts are very simple, but I personally liked them. There were always scrambled eggs or an omelet, something sweet, cold cuts, cheese – I don’t need anything more.
I give only 2 stars in the hope that this will motivate the owners to take better care of the place or hire a good manager. If someone properly managed this hotel, it would deserve at least 4 stars. The shortcomings are significant and spoil the experience, but they are easy to fix – it just takes a bit of effort.
Really nice. Clean room and bed. You may close the balcony roller door and have blackout with AC. We stayed here just for night after trip – and we were happy with it. Totally cost its 3 star. Even better actually.
Great location, but fairly average and out dates rooms. The hallway walking to the room was pretty bland – especially for such a hotel right in the marina. Everything about the room and the approach to the room felt utilitarian.
We stayed here for 3 days and the only positive thing i can say about the hotel was just the location and that’s really it. The room was spacious but very very unclean hair on bedsheets and stains on the mattress the room itself felt very unclean, we asked the staff for 2 days in a row to change the sheets that didn’t happen the wall had stains of dead mosquitos it was just unpleasant to sleep i don’t even wanna start to talk about the bathroom.
