I was very happy with my choice. I fell in love with the place and the location. Hariklia is extremely kind. I felt very safe as a solo traveler in Agia Galini and at Hariklia’s place. You also feel and see Hariklia putting all her effort and love into the Hotel. The view is incredible all day long. The place is exactly between the town center and the beach so all is in walking distance. I will definitely come back here when staying in Agia Galini.
Hariklia is so sweet and was very responsive when we emailed about staying. There was a miss about the dates, (we came during the way off season), but she took care of it right away and we got our rooms fast and next to each other. The rooms were very clean. We had just had a couple of airbnbs with really hard beds so it was a relief to sleep on a comfortable bed. We all slept great. Note that the remote might look like the air conditioner is on because it shows the temp lit up on the remote. I was changing the temp up and down with no response then finally pushed the power button and then it actually turned on!😆😂 It is also the heater – kept us warm on a cool winter night. Try the loquats from her beautiful fruit trees! They are juicy and sweet. I could imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer. A beautiful place with stunning views and short walk to restaurants. It is a little sleepy in the off season, but there were still a few cafes open and a bakery for breakfast in the morning and it is a great jump off point for many sites and nearby villages or stop along your journey. We hope to be back someday when it is warm to experience the beach, food, and kind hospitable people. Thank you Hariklia for hosting us!
I had the best stay at Hotel Hariklia. A Fantastic place full of Greek charm. It is the most wonderful, traditional, comfortable, clean, authentic welcoming place, covered with vibrant fuchsia flowers from the ancient Bougainvillea trees. The rooms are perfect and the bedding and beds extremely comfortable. Cleanliness and attention to detail 10 out of 10!
The views from the room and the surrounding balconies are so picturesque, overlooking the Agia Galini Harbour. Extremely chilled and relaxing.
There is a well equipped kitchen where one can make a drink or prepare a meal. This is the most ideal place for the independent traveller. I can highly recommend.
I spent a wonderful two weeks at Hotel Hariklia. I’ve been traveling for many years in Greece and it is exactly the sort of small, family-run hotel I look for: sparse, clean, aesthetically pleasing rooms with a large terrace covered in bougainvillea and jasmine on each of its two floors, great views of the harbor and bay, and a communal kitchen with all that one needs for preparing breakfast and a light meal. The hotel is hosted and kept immaculately clean by Hariklia, a very sympathetic and attentive host.
If you are in Agia Galini or even just in the vicinity, come here to sleep. The rooms and the bathrooms are beautiful and large, always very clean and the view from the terraces is amazing and priceless!
Especially the owner Hariklia is always incredibly friendly and helpful, so whether you are here for a few days or weeks, you should stay in these little beautiful Hotel!!
