Really enjoyed our (2.) stay at this hotel. Very friendly and genuinely happy staff, especially in the restaurant. We were always welcomed with a big smile. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden was simply gorgeous. The hotel and its surroundings were quiet (except from the occasional roosters crow 😉 well, it is located near fields and not in the middle of a touristy place). Distance to the beach is about 10 Min. walk along the road on a pavement. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
This is a mixed bag. First, it’s very clean and quiet with a terrific swimming pool. The cleaning ladies do a great job. The showers are adequate (although badly designed). The beds are fine.
Unfortunately, the morning buffet is not very impressive (our first week it lacked fruit), but it’s fair for the price. The evening buffet is awful. But the staff is kind and keeps the tables clean with a smile. (Daniella is lovely.)
The bar is very nice, and ionella is superb bartender. The lunch from the bar menu is fair value and much better than the buffet.
The place is a haven for smokers, but bad for those who dislike it.
The rooms are not very sound proof, and next door smokers will drift onto your balcony and room.
The best thing about the hotel other thN the pool is that it is unpretentious (and nicely designed), and a 7 minute walk to the beach. It is nicely designed with lovely furniture.
The front desk is nir very helpful.
Close to the beach (~7 min walking), close to a very well stocked supermarket (they have everything, souvenirs, alcohol including some exotic bottles, beach accessories and many more).
With a nice pool, rooms have individual and well working A/C, good breakfast (as we chose to have only breakfast and eat out for diner) and very kind service, in the reception, during breakfast and cleaning staff as well.
We had a room with a great view on the mountains.
A big plus for me was the fact there was a number of cats on the premises, very well behaved and most importantly clearly well taken care of.
Wonderful stay! Very tasty, Greek various food. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice and helpful stuff. 5 min from the beach and cool bar just around the corner (the one in lobby is also very friendly). Big supermarket in front of the hotel. To summarise, a nice place to stay on Kos!

Cons:
– Non-renovated rooms are dated. One of our rooms smelled very mouldy and musty.
– No shampoo or shower soap, but not sure that’s normal for Greece
– Pool closes at 7! Way too early. I’m not sure why they light it up so beautifully at night if you can’t use it.
– We paid cash for some drinks, but when we checked out they said the bill wasn’t paid. So they charged us again.
– Wi-Fi does not reach the rooms.
– There could’ve been a better selection of fresh fruits for breakfast.
