A lovely family-run hotel with impeccably attentive hosts, and all for a very good price. The views from the pool are lovely at all times of day, and the owner, Stelios, is always on his feet and looking after the hotel and the guests with decades of experience.
The room was generous and airy with AC, and a very useful coffee pot. The bathroom was kept simple but very clean, with ventilation and a hairdryer too. Water was, from my experience, warm with very good pressure.
Parking is free and ample, and just 2 minutes from both the highway and the coastal road.
There are local amenities 10-15 minutes walk away, and the beach is about a 20-25 minute walk or a 4 minute drive. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars along the coastal road within 10 minutes drive and Chania is around 30 minutes drive away.
I will certainly be returning!
The owner(s) are outstanding and it’s a great setting with amazing views. Everything was clean & well looked after. The rooms could benefit from two things – new fridges & better air con. If the poolside bar actually served drinks during the day as well, this place would be perfect…but it’s almost there and I’d recommend, especially if you like quiet places and a friendly dog who lives next door but never seems to be there!
Very nice family run apartments. We have been 8 times now and every room has been very good yet always slightly different. Pool is quite big and deep, but the shallow end is also shallow enough for little children. Not sure if I’m allowed to say their names on here for whatever reason but they are very cool and speak amazing English.
Such a nice hotel with an amazing view. The owners are very kind and helpful and make you feel welcome and at home. It’s a bit up the hill, but if you like the hike or just have a rental car it’s no trouble at all.
The pool area is perfect with just enough sunbeds and a nice temperature on the water.
We are definitely coming back here again!
