A gem find in Kos. Fabulous location in a great neighbourhood, close to everything you need. Beautifully run family hotel, authentically Greek with delicious simple breakfasts with homemade jams to die for. Very helpful staff, Dimitri was always willing to answer questions and give great recommendations. I felt sorry for people staying anywhere else 😁
I went to Afendulis for breakfast in August of 2021 everyday of my trip there. I have been thinking about doing this review. Let me just tell you Dimitri was so kind and welcoming. His Greek yogurt, jams, toast, and omelet were all delicious. Even if you don’t stay at this hotel, try their breakfast!
We had a lovely time in Hotel Afendoulis. It is a small family run business and everything about it was really lovely and friendly. It is in a quieter part of town which we appreciated. The breakfast was great, they offer a variety of homemade fruit spreads that are made by their family. They were very helpful and nothing was too much to ask. They recommend local restaurants and cafes, bike hire places & places to see. They helped us organise a transfer from the airport when we arrived late in the evening, which I would recommend when first arriving. We will definitely visit Kos again just to stay with this great family! They offer great value in every way!

Great position, rooms very clean with all comforts, but the extra is definitely this amazing family that make everything so simple and special…in our case they even managed to find the car keys (rental car) that fell into a manhole!!

Like an overnight stay in a friends house. The hotel is kinda old fashioned. The rooms are small, neat and clean. The owners make a heartwarming athmosphere, talk very good english and are always open for a small chat. The breakfast with a wide range of home made marmelade is delicious!
