A great place short way from Kos harbour.
Lovely spacious garden and pool.
A little wear and tear in the room but bed was great.
Food and drinks in the bar and restaurant was great

We love The Aegean Houses. its our go to holiday. We are back for our 3rd time this year [2024]. We stayed in room 329 in August 2023 and it was just great, a spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean and great views over pool and quiet balcony. The staff are amazing it’s like seeing family again when you return everyone is so welcoming. Kirus the barman, Stavros, George and Polly all great and friendly. The pool is great, tho there was a small bit of confusion with the sunbeds and availability when we stayed but this seemed to sort itself out [maybe sunbeds allocated to rooms may help] The restaurant is great for snacks, and main meals, with a good selection all cooked fresh to order. The bar has a great selection of beer and cocktails. The pool is big enough for everyone to have a fun time. The whole complex is clean and tidy and ideally situated for the beach, about a 10 min walk and about a 25 min walk to Kos Town. Really nice helpful staff. Rooms need a little fresh up, but good enough pool area great. The walk to kos centre is 50/50 with a few run down places which has gone out of business. Would I stay again yes the Greek people very friendly and helpful. Prices for food and drink. Very comfortable.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough.The staff are absolutely incredible. The rooms were immaculate and large with a balcony. The pool is lovely with lots of floaties. They even have a small library which I frequented. Breakfast and food in general is absolutely superb we ate here nearly every night. Most of all, it’s the staff and customer service that really makes this place; Poppy and George (the daytime bar staff) were so kind, helpful and chatty, there were some heartfelt goodbyes. Will definitely be back. To add, it was romantic, very kid friendly and such a happy atmosphere.
We arrived at the hotel around 2 am. We checked in and were given information on the area and the hotel by the receptionist. They helped us with our luggage to our room (305), which was very helpful as there were no lifts here.
This room is a one bed superior apartment, it had 2 beds in the bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the living room, the beds in the living room, you are just sleeping on the sofa cushions no pullout bed. Sofa beds were very hard, not much cushioning. There was a nice gesture when we got in the room there was a plate of bread rolls, ham, cheese and salad in the fridge if we were hungry as we arrived late. The pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery were all clean. The rooms could do with a bit of modernisation.
Moving onto the pool, this area was always very quiet. Not many people went into the pool as it was very cold. I enjoyed being able to cool off in it. They provide pool floaties. Sun beds were comfy.
The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The beach is a mixture of sand and pebble. There are supermarkets on the way to the beach which all have nice cold drinks, the konstantinos supermarket also has a bakery. The walk into Kos town is around 25 minutes, don’t bother relying on the buses they are never on time.
