Had a very lovely time at the hotel. Pool could of been a little bit more warm as was cold. Staff was really helpful and very polite and friendly. And we would would definitely come back here again for a holiday
Good location, and the complex is ok. The service from the bar staff is excellent but the rest of the staff need to work on manners and happy faces. The HV crew are always lovely.
The food could do with more variations daily, and the room cleaning could do with a schedule and some more work.
You will be told that you can book in one of the special restaurants during your stay but this is not the case. You have to sort it through reception if you are still lucky to get a place.
It has been ok, but I would not recommend it. You can get a lot better for your money.
We were told we had an upgrade on a double with partial sea view. we got a family room with a partial sea view over a resturant. Each to thier own on preference but I like to sit on my balcony in the mornings and have a cup of coffie and would have felt uncomfortable people looking at me. As soon as I saw it I went to recption and said no. They said we will swap you when a room becomes available and you will get the room you paid for. we did get a room which was nice the next day. We spotted a beautiful affinity pool with nice out door funiture which i would have given definate 5* set out for a nice relaxing day but then loads of children assended on the pool as it was the entertainment pool. Although a holiday village this could have been a gem of an adults pool. Children were running on the end of it which I think an accident waiting to happen! The reception was nice until you look at the butlins theme of childrens games and screaming. The spa hot tub didn’t work and unclean. But at last found an adults only pool inside out of glorious sun shine. then entertainment was lacking as again more for children. we spent the days on the other side of the resort right in the corner with other couples which was quiet enough. The food was ok and what you expect from an all in. The good thing is the pizza, wraps, cakes. in the little outside cafes ( superb).The beach is in front of the hotel down steps or ramp and over the road easy to cross. Water sports on the beach. ( Take out a loan )! I really don’t understand the greed lower the prices and more people will use which in turn would mean more profit. location is excellent for the town. no need for taxis as only a 10 minutes walk to bars and resturants. If you want to visit beaches tui charges for paradise beach £15, if there was a family of 5 just say adults 15 and discount for the little ones your looking at £50. if you got a drivers licence hire a car at £50 and you can drive 1 road and beach after beach signposted, you can get to numerous beaches which are far better and not so crowded only a 10 minute drive. There are 2 sides to the whole resort. 1 side is the main resturant and little cafes and butlins. The other side a little more chilled with an outside bar with food snacks and all pools are children friendly and spa treatments centre. The resort is on a hill so you can either call for a lift on a buggy or walk but be prepared for hill treck or steps. as a couple I would say there are better hotels. The little water park is good enough without having to pay for slides. I love the location which gives the option of going to town at night to seek entertainment but the hotel I would probably not go back to just because there not an adults zone to chill in.
Food was awful disgusting not much choice, snack bar pizza was nice that’s about all that’s decent on the food at this place room was comfortable and clean although did have ants in the kettle and around the tea and coffee making facilities in the room our friends also had a ant problem in there room, swim up pools were lovely though but freezing area was beautiful Kos old town was a brilliant visit, the waterslides at hotel are very strict and is 1.2m to shoulders not head so had very unhappy kids but the waterpark down the road was a good shout !
Great end of season stay at the Holiday Village. The hotel, bar and restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. Service was great everything inside and in the grounds were very clean and well kept. Pools were excellent (cool-ish on Oct but that’s to be expected).
The beach area is good, sun loungers belong to the hotel so were free. It is only 10-15min walk into a nice, friendly town with plenty of tourist and artisan shops and lots of bars and restaurants.
Really great stay and we hope to return.
