  1. Been here on previous visits to Kos. Owner nice chap formerly from Melbourne and we get to chat since I’m a Greek from Sydney. Always shouts me a drink after my meal.

  2. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience here. Firstly, the owner asked us if we wanted a ‘very small’ piece of toast as a starter, and we were fine with this. After getting this toast we had to wait over 25 minutes for a gyros pita and a pasta Alfredo. When the pasta was brought, there turned out to be gyros chicken in the pasta, which was also partly raw. When we reported this to the owner, he said that this is the way it should be because otherwise the chicken would be ‘too dry’. I only took a few bites and immediately suffered from this for 2 days.

When I asked to pay, they waited really long to bring the check, and after asking again, they tried to make us happy by bringing me a ‘free’ beer, which I kindly refused. When we finally could pay, the bill turned out to be much higher than expected. 4 small pieces of toast for 8 euros, while the pita gyros itself was only 4.50. In addition, extra costs had been added to the total amount out of the blue. We did not agree with this and the owner was willing to deduct a few euros from the total amount, but since (1) the chicken was raw, (2) the pasta alfredo was a pasta gyros, something I have never seen, and (3) he wanted to fool us into paying 8 euros for a few pieces of toast, I ended up paying only for our dish and the drinks.

It’s a pity that people like this want to take advantage of tourists, thereby ruining their own name.

  3. Scam, be carefull! Ordered 2x pita (4,50 per pita) and water. Bill was 15 euro’s. Owner said pita with only the meat was 4,50. The tzatziki, onions etc inside were extra. Thats is nonsense. This was also not mentioned in the menu or asked. After adressing this we quickly got our money back.

  4. I had a wonderful time here! The waiter was so friendly, made us feel very welcome. I ordered a halloumi gyro which wasnt on the menu but they accommodated for my veggie needs. So cheap and so tasty. Will be visiting here again.
    Thanks!
