The Beach itself was very pretty and worth the stop by BOAT. Smooth pebbles line the beach so not bad with bare feet. We saw some jellyfish snorkeling but there was really nothing special to see underwater.
This review is about the hike to the beach. I had read the reviews before we attempted and let me tell you it was wayyyy more than challenging than y’all lead me to believe… At the time of this review there were NO ropes and it was extremely steep with HUGE distances to try and crawl down with lose rocks. If you trip or slip and fall you will plummet to your death. You will be hot and need to swim when you get to the bottom to cool off so pack accordingly but as light as possible. Do not attempt with small children or elderly. We had a quad/ATV/ 4-wheeler so we took it as far down the rocky dirt road as we could but still felt it was difficult. There are no facilities at the bottom or top so being water and food to replenish yourself from heat exhaustion.
We are in pretty good shape and do not regret that we did it, just in my opinion there are so many better options for enjoying your holiday.
The most wonderful beach of Corfú.
It’s like heaven on heart, the water is just amazing and it’s calm(it’s a wild beach so bring your own food and drinks) , especially in the morning.
It’s a little complicated to get there because you need to do a trekking and the path it’s steep so you need to pay attention and good shoes, absolutely not sandals.
For me this beach was a perfect summer experience but don’t go if you don’t want climbing and hiking because it’s hard to get down to the beach, there’s no rope to hold to and don’t wear flip flops. There’s a big hill to the parking but it was not a big problem. The water is very very clear and good. I recommend this beach for those who want a little bit of fun for the hike.
Very beautiful beach, my favorite of Corfu.
If you don’t like hiking & climbing avoid this beach, it is a 30 min way down and you need to have your hands free because there are places you need both of your hands to climb rocks, it is a bit dangerous but doable if you are slow and careful.
The beach is amazing, not crowded, clear water and plenty of fish (bring snorkels).
Best beach in Corfu reachable by car in our 1 week holiday.
The water was crystal clear and the beach was not so crowded.
The access to the beach is adventurous but manageable, you just have to be careful while going down, the way up is always easier.
To reach the beach after parking follow the directions to the viewpoint, the path is on the left.
Totally worth it.
