A Warm Welcome

Visitors have consistently praised the friendly and welcoming staff at the Grande Blue Beach Bar. As highlighted by Panagiotis Pantelidis, the bar’s team creates an inviting atmosphere, making you feel right at home. It’s not just about serving drinks; it’s about fostering a sense of community among visitors.

Affordable Luxury

Unlike many lavish beach bars in the city center, the Grande Blue Beach Bar boasts reasonable prices that cater to tourists and locals alike. Patrons can indulge in the stunning surroundings without worrying about breaking the bank. This affordability adds to the allure of this hidden gem.

Accessibility Concerns

While the beauty of Grande Blue is undeniable, it’s essential to note that accessibility can be an issue for visitors with mobility impairments. The beach requires navigating a considerable number of stairs, which could prove challenging for some. Nonetheless, the breathtaking views make the trek worthwhile for many.

Natural Beauty Awaits

The enchanting natural scenery surrounding the beach bar is something that cannot be overlooked. As Anna Vaseva notes, the wild beauty of the area is incredible and a perfect backdrop for relaxation. This unique location serves as a canvas for memorable moments, whether you’re enjoying a cocktail or taking in the stunning views.

Sip & Savor

The drinks at Grande Blue Beach Bar are a highlight on the menu, with many visitors raving about the variety and quality available. The staff regularly checks in with guests, ensuring that your glass is never empty. It’s an ultimate spot to sip on refreshing beverages while soaking in the warm sun.

Private Beach Bliss

One of the unique features of Grande Blue Beach Bar is its private beach, providing a sense of exclusivity that is rare in popular tourist areas. This serene environment makes it easy to unwind away from the bustling crowds, offering the perfect setting for a peaceful day by the sea.

Unforgettable Moments

Imagine attending a wedding ceremony on the beach, with a skilled violinist creating magical moments right next to the waves. Kevin Thomas shared his experience witnessing such a beautiful event, highlighting the bar’s capacity to host memorable occasions amidst a breathtaking backdrop.

Snorkeling Adventures

For adventure seekers, the beach offers excellent snorkeling opportunities. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snorkeling gear to explore the clear waters filled with colorful fish and stunning underwater caves, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and aquatic enthusiasts alike, as noted by John Sklvrs.

Reasonable Comfort

The sunbeds at Grande Blue Beach Bar are a steal at just 20 euros for a full day of comfort beneath the sun. This reasonable pricing, combined with the idyllic environment of fresh water and great snorkeling, makes for a perfect beach day.

A Mixed Atmosphere

While many visitors have expressed delight in their experiences, others have pointed out some challenges regarding the atmosphere. It’s important for potential visitors to know that enjoyment can be subjective and influenced by the vibe on a particular day. Some patrons have noted incidents that could affect the overall experience.

Enjoyment with Caution

While the plentiful positives shine brightly, visitors should be aware of the nuances of the environment. Claire Masser’s experience illustrates the importance of the hospitality attitude. It’s advisable to remain aware and adapt to the behaviors and atmosphere at hand to ensure a pleasant visit.

A Return to Nature

Nature lovers will find solace in the unspoiled coastline and vibrant marine life. As echoed by many patrons, immersing oneself in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea offers a refreshing escape from the busy tourist spots. It’s an invitation to savor Rhodes’ natural beauty.

  1. What a wonderful place, a hidden paradise. The prices were very reasonable, unlike most of the “luxurious” city centre beach bars, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend anyone who has a car to pay a visit. Sadly the beach is not accessible for people with mobility impairments due to the huge amount of stairs you have to climb to get there.

  2. The beach bar is in a great location and staff were lovely who came along at intervals to check if you wanted anything like drinks or snacks. I have seen some comments from people about the beach, but they are forgetting this is a private beach.
One late afternoon there was even a wedding ceremony, with violinist, right on the beach next to the sea and then family meal on the beach next to the bar.
We loved the quiet beach location, and went almost every day of our stay.

  3. We loved the location of this place. It’s an awesome cove, lovely fresh water, great snorkeling and views. The sunbeds are really reasonable at 20 euros and they have one really friendly guy who greeted us enthusiastically when we first went there and told us all about the place and what to see. He was lovely. Sadly the rest of the people there were not so friendly. The bar staff was offhand about serving you and rather spoilt the atmosphere of the place by playing very loud techno and trance music all day, hardly the chilled Ibiza Cafe Del Mar beach music we would expect in a place like this.
We went twice and our second visit today was rather marred by the unfriendly owner having a dispute b with an Italian couple had turned up about 5.30pm and sat down on some sunbeds then we’re surprised when they were expected to pay 20 euros for them. The owner started shouting at them and called them ‘Malakas! (Very rude greek word) quite a few times until they left. But more upsetting was when his lovely employee, the one who had greeted us and was great with customers tried to calm things down, was shoved out of the way and thrown to the ground by the owner. That was so unnecessary and made us feel like we never want to go there again.
It’s a shame for the nice Italian couple who didn’t know that they were entitled to stay on the beach as it is not owned by the beach bar owner. They just needed to not use the sunbeds, but they left, walking back up the killer steps they had just walked down.

  4. This beach is a MUST visit in Rhodes island Greece.
You have to go down a lot of stairs but its worth it.
The sun beds and 1 umbrella is 20€.
The water was very clear and clean. You should definitely take a mask with you so you can snorkel. There are a lot of fish and 3 caves that you should see. It’s amazing.
    Rhodes island is the best.!!!
