Beautiful views from our balcony and hot tub, steps away from the beach, amazing breakfast made with consideration to our needs.
George and Elena made us feel very welcome….they went above and beyond.
Definitely recommend if you want to chill. There are even books there if you run out!
Location is decent, on a quiet side of island. Just a few steps down to a nice sand beach with several trees that offer good shade, if you’re lucky to find a spot because it gets very crowded in August. Short drive to Aliki.
The rooms are decent and clean but show their age. Breakfast was nice, coffee could be better. Very overpriced for what it is, but that applies to many other places on the island during August.
Glyfa Village is one of a kind. Located in a super quiet area with a lovely view. The appartements are super comfy and clean. Sitting on the terrace watching the sea was super relaxing and a pleasure. The quiet beach is a few steps away.
We were welcomed warmly and everybody was super friendly.
It was super that we could rent a car there. And we were picked up and brought back to the port.
We got all the important information and great recommendations for food and what to see.
The breakfast service was exceptional. A quick call in the morning and the breakfast was served on our own terrace. Nothing was missing (eggs, bread, pitas, vegetables, fruits, super yummy yoghurt, sweets, orange juice, honey, local tasty marmelades, …). I loved the ecological aspects with the reusable bottles for milk and juice, so we could keep the milk we didn’t used for the next day in our fridge. Plus I always appreciate when locals products are used.
There is surely more to say. But the most important is that I enjoyed my stay a lot and that Glyfa Village is one of few accommodations that will stay in my memory and I hope to come back one day. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much 🙏
Cozy apartment hotel located at quite areas in the south of the island.
Plus:
1) We stay for 10 days, Marios and his mum make the best host ever, my kids developed a fond relationship with them.
2) Freshly make breakfast serve to your room, Marios’s mum make very delicious orange cake.
3) Very close to our favorite organize beach that shielded from the north wind.
4) 5 min walk to a beach that is frequent by local.
Minus:
1) Internet speed is pretty poor. I have to attend some meeting and it is completely unusable.
Overall a pleasant stay and will definitely come back again!
Glyfa Village is absolutely fantastic, the staff are friendly, helpful and caring, the breakfast is so good that words can’t describe. And it’s refreshing to find villas exactly as described on the website.
The Meltemi was blowing, and for me the Cyclades without it wouldn’t be what makes the Greek Islands so very special. It’s almost spiritual.
The very best of stress free relaxation awaits, and Paros has it all.
