Great place with lovely, tasty food. Clean, the staff is helpful, not pushy. Try the homemade pasta, seafood, the lamb….
Highly recommended
The dishes we tried were mostly subpar – sturgeon fillet and smoked eel are totally not worth it (and are served on plastic plates), urchin was a joke, however grilled sardine was very tasty indeed and taramas was also quite good. Value for money is rather bad, there’s much better options nearby.
Biggest letdown was the service – the staff is clearly untrained on how to be welcoming and hospitable. They also run around like headless chickens and are quite uncoordinated. I would also expect to hear a thank you after paying, instead of a dismissive look by the waiter.
A nice albeit quite typical tavern in the old town. I found the food tasty but a little bit lackluster (octopus was really nice though).
Pick anything from the small menu with the catch of the day. Optionally, a starter or two if you’ve been stranded on a desert island for a week.
Enjoy.
Repeat.
Excellent food, lovely staff, and beautiful sunset, all you need for a perfect evening in Chania. Highly recommend avocado salad, mussels, and fish soup, every dish we had was amazingly good.
