  1. Sandy beach with some pebbles. Permanently installed wooden sun umbrellas from the community. Quite a few tamarisk trees. One beach bar with drinks, snacks and sunbeds in the middle of the beach. Nice little tavern at the end of the beach. Turquoise water. Go there when strong winds blow from the north. It’ll still be windy, but it is possible to swim because of relatively calm water.

  2. One of the top beaches in the island with crystal clear waters. The beach is protected by many winds and especially from north winds. More than half is sandy and a small part at the end towards the Greek tavern is pebble. There is a beach bar in the middle of the beach with umbrellas to rent (prices of the beach bar are quite expensive). On the one end of the beach where the bus station till the middle of the beach there are many trees that create shade to lie down.

  3. The beach is located at a tight bay, in the south of the island of Serifos. It is well protected in windy conditions (a must in case of winds, if I may say), it is usually quiet and the waters are crystal-clear! Keep in mind that, although, there are a lot of tamarisks for shade, you might need to carry an umbrella with you, plus some water or refreshments as there is no beach bar around. Last but not least, there is no parking at the spot but you can easily park your vehicle at the sides of the road.

  4. We didn’t get to see many beaches on Serifos because of the Meltemi wind. This was second best (no. 1, in my view, was Kalo Ampeli). Being located on the southern coast it was slightly protected from the worst of the wind and the water is amazing. The beach taverna is delightful, serving fresh fish at reasonable prices.
