Such a lovely setup in a high elevation. They’ve got 2 pools, a pretty decent breakfast and I heard the chef cooks a fabulous dinner spread. The rooms were spacious, the washrooms big and the aircon & wifi were really good.!
What a good place to stay! Great views over looking the water from a distance. The rooms were big, clean and tidy and beds comfortable. The pool area was gorgeous and they have a wonderful snack bar. If you are looking to stay on the edge of the town and walk in this place is perfect. It is only a 20 min walk into to Chania or €6 euros in taxi. The walk is worth it and there are lovely bars and cafes on the way along the waterfront. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend.
We’ve stayed in Frida 3 nights. It was absolutely stunning. Hotel is well situated, 15 minutes from the city centre walking by seaside. Room is correctly equipped with a small kitchen, air conditioning, spacious bathroom. There are two swimming pools for your service. The owner and stuff are very friendly and helpful. We’ve had a small cultural exchange about types of coffee and drinks were on the house (really nice touch!). Truthfully recommend for those who looking for combination of calm accommodation located near the town and close to main landmarks / local beaches. Many thanks Frida !

Frida Apartments was such a lovely and welcoming start to our stay in Crete.
Roula enthusiastically welcomed us at the front desk, took us to our room and offered to share with us some of the hidden gems Chania had to offer (away from the tourist traps!).
I wish I could remember the rest of the staff members names, but each and every one of you made our stay so incredibly enjoyable!
The waitresses/bartenders were so incredibly sweet and hospitable. The lady who worked breakfast/lunch was so sweet and always took great care of us! The gals who worked dinner, you were amazing! The cocktails were fantastic and we enjoyed chatting with you whenever we got the chance. And to my man in the kitchen – your souvlaki is off the chain! Your tzatziki was probably the best I tasted during our entire stay in Crete! The ladies who worked hard to make sure our rooms were nice and tidy were also so lovely to be around and added so much life to the Greek night party (especially the one who pulled me on the dance floor – you know who you are! ❤️) Everyone made us feel right at home.
This accommodation is the perfect laid back vibe we were going for. There is a lovely beach access just up the road that is perfect for a relaxing stroll to the beach that Frida Apartments overlooks, which we enjoyed so much. Short drive to downtown where you can find parking and stroll through beautiful Old Chania, window shop, people watch, and take a seat at any of the many cafes for a quick refreshment.
We will be staying at Frida Apartments again when we come back! Which we definitely will be! ❤️

We had an amazing stay. The staff did everything they could to make our stay lovely. I brought my sister from Sacramento here and my family from London and everyone had a magnificent time. There are two pools and the view from the top pool is priceless. It is well located and great value for money. The apartments have everything you need for your staff and we loved staying there. Would come back again in a heartbeat.
