I recently stayed at the Filion hotel and spa, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering both comfort and elegance, with stunning views that made each morning a delight. The amenities are top-notch, including a luxurious spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and an exquisite dining experience with a variety of delicious options. I am never one for a seaside hotel but this place has the best of both worlds, it is inland enough for some peace and tranquility and the hotel offer a free shuttle to the nearest beach that’s 5 min away. The staff are ALL beautiful people even with the long shifts in the heat. Would highly recommend this hotel.
We visited in September 2023 for a week. We hired a car, which we would recommend as the island is beautiful and there are so many lovely places to visit.
However, if you did just want to stay at the resort it is ideal too, with an easy walk to Bali beach (which we highly recommend).
Accommodation was perfect, our balcony overlooked the pool and the view of the mountains was beautiful.
Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was great with lots of choice. Drinks by the pool bar were lovely.
Entertainment was good, there was just one night when the entertainment was poor but other than that we enjoyed it.
Could always get a sunbed. We did prefer the lower pool and went there mainly.
Staff were always friendly and happy.
7 months later we still miss it. Lots of happy memories.
Been there with a family in a villa with 2 bedrooms. Cannot recommend, because it will be hard to find free time for myself. Joking.
It is really worth to choose Filion suites for everything and nothing.

overall the hotel is lovely and relaxing. plenty of pools to choose from.
no music by the pools. so if you want peace and quite this is the hotel for you. plenty of space for everyone and rooms are clean and comfortable. toiletries /towels are also provided.

free wine and water on arrival. they even plated us some food and left it in our fridge because we arrive after 10pm.
if you want a large water bottle ask at reception and you can re fill it at the water fountain throughout your stay. there is a shop on site whoever, it has limited open times. but holds everything you could need.
towels can be rented out at a small charge £💶
lots of places outside the hotel take card and cash payments. but no where to exchange.

the diet coke was cheap and tasteless. so as a type 1 diabetic who doesn’t drink it was sad. The queue for the bar is long.
BUS TO THE BEACH
shuttle bus to the beach was always early / late so arriving at the beach so don’t expect and exact time. but its lovely that its FREE 😊staff also use the bus so there isn’t always room as it only holds 8 passengers. bare this in mind if there is a few of you in your party.
they have a lunch break but when waiting for the bus half an hour earlier than expected it actually came and said there was another bus on the way. which was true as my partner got on this one. it takes around 10 mins to get to the beach.
after 6pm its 20 euros to the beach.
