We had an amazing 3 night stay here in a king bed room with a view of the adult pool. Their attention to detail in service was truly impressive. The value was great and worth every dollar spent here. Del Mar has good views and is close to the beach, but a bit further from the city. The property is really large and there are plenty of fun activities to do. We were impressed by the service, except for the valet. The valet was extremely slow, and they always adjusted my seat, AC, and headlight settings and it was annoying every morning to change it back.
A person who lives in San Diego recommended this place, so I visited to use it along with the golf course. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in the US. When I picked up the phone, they knew what I was talking about and I was impressed. The service that puts the customer’s needs first was the best. The staff’s response made my vacation perfect and I want to visit here again. I was grateful to the hotel staff who made my time happy.
Always enjoy Fairmont hotels and this was no exception. Beautiful property and golf course. Exceptional service, especially Jay, he was not only a wealth of information about the SAN Diego area and beyond friendly, but he also saved the day when we were overly ambitious on a short hike with a 6 month old and his car seat! Don’t hesitate to stay here. Great gym facilities as well.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience, thanks to the exceptional reception service. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff made me feel welcome and took care of everything efficiently. They were super attentive and always ready to help with any request. I was really impressed with their knowledge of the area and the great recommendations they provided. Overall, the outstanding reception service made my stay truly memorable and enjoyable! Great resort. The service is very attentive. I don’t normally review hotels but before my stay I scoured the review for pictures/details of the gym and couldn’t find any so I wanted to add that for the fellow gym rats. This is the best hotel gym I’ve come across. Tons of cardio machines, dumbbells up to 75lbs, a crossover machine, dip bars and an actual squat rack. I’m here for work but wouldn’t hesitate to stay on personal time.
