This accommodation is situated on a magical place – Spinalonga Peninsula. Leda and her team offers the best, relaxing, and sustainable holiday experience. We have stayed there twice, the last time for 12 days. As it can get pretty hot in the summer months, you need to be aware that due to its sustainability policy, there is no AC. However, the apartments have windows, front and back, which provide natural air circulation as well as ceiling/wall fans.
Highly recommended for a unique and very relaxing holiday!
Elounda Island Villas offers an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful vacation with plenty of opportunities for exploration. With hiking trails around the island, stunning views of Mirabello, and a short walk to Elounda for tavernas, it truly combines relaxation and adventure. The personal touch from Leda and Lucas, offering warm welcomes and helpful advice, adds to the charm of the stay.
For photographers and bird lovers, spotting kingfishers is an extra treat! The nearby village of Plaka and easy access to Spinalonga Island for a reasonable price make for an exciting day trip.

This is a perfect spot for anyone looking to relax while also enjoying the local culture and scenery.
Spectacular place. Outstanding in every way. The only accommodation on the island. Anyone who gives this a bad review simply has no taste or cannot follow instructions to keep the flat cool (I.e leave shutters closed facing the sun). Would definitely stay here again.
I have stayed at the Elounda Island Villas many times, and have never tired of the utterly breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere.
This is a family run business, and the utmost care is taken to make one feel comfortable and to benefit from a break away from everyday life.
There are at least five, quite different, beaches within easy walking distance from the Villas; the nearest one being just a hundred or so steps away.
All of the villas are airy and bright and have balconies from which one can enjoy the wonderful sea views. The small kitchens are perfectly adequate if you want to cook for yourself. However, delicious breakfasts and snacks are served at the Villas’ Taverna throughout the day.
Cars, and bikes (both motor and pedal), can be hired in Elounda town, where there are many excellent places to eat and enjoy the night life if required.
The perfect place to rest from the noise of a big city. Beautiful nature, sea and mountains, peace and quiet. Very atmospheric apartment, very hospitable, helpful and nice hosts. Everything has the artistic soul of Mrs. Lidia who is the owner and artist, she also runs her workshops and galleries in the villa. I highly recommend. And I will definitely come back here again
