  1. It’s a very nice hotel but could just do with a couple of tweaks to make it a proper 5* in my opinion.
Alcoholic slushies available at all bars, but the strawberry ice only available, if ready, until 3! If you’re on the beach and want a water/ice cream/snack then you have to walk through the hotel, why not have minimum options at the beach bar?

Warning CATS at mealtime at buffet area.
A very pebble & stone beach. Tiny (& I mean tiny) area of sand.

  2. Gorgeous modern all-inclusive hotel. We had a week there as a family of 4, staying in an Executive Family Suite with Pool View. The room was light and airy, and had plenty of room for us, with a partition door between the main bedroom and the room setup for the kids. Spotlessly clean, plenty of wardrobe space, and a big walk-in shower in the bathroom. And the double balcony was stunning and a really nice spot to wind down once the kids went to bed, and listen to the live music playing in the pool bar area.

Food at the hotel was a hit with everyone in the family – loads of choice at the buffet restaurant, with lots of greek dishes and good salads / starters etc alongside changing specials (mexican / Asian etc) and familiar favourites for the kids in pasta / pizza etc most days. And the dessert counter was too tempting to resist! The Greek Tray Club was stunning – such good food, it felt like a real holiday treat – just remember to reserve a table in advance for dinner. And the Italian was great at lunchtime for freshly made pizza / pasta to order. Plenty of bars dotted around the hotel and we never had to wait more than a few minutes to be served at the busiest times – very nice cocktails 🍹and the staff were lovely with the kids, creating them fruity non-alcoholic drinks to match the grown ups. The bakery and the ice cream parlour were also very popular with the kids for mid-morning / mid-afternoon snacks.

The real highlight for us was the massive pool area, which had plenty of sun loungers and really comfy beds with shade, and loads of space for the kids to play in the water without getting in the way of others too much. The pool area was super clean and we loved watching the swallows flying round overhead.

We did take the shuttle bus to Rhodes on one day to see the Old Town and do a bit of shopping, which worked well and was cheaper than cabs, but other than that, we lazed by the pool and on the beach. If you wanted to see more of the island there were plenty of excursions on offer, and a car hire desk within the hotel.

Close to the airport which is great for short transfer times, and whilst you do hear a few planes overhead, there aren’t that many of them and it didn’t bother us at all.

Great holiday – I’d happily go back tomorrow!

  3. The only nice thing about the hotel is its location. The food is horrible, it is literally inedible. The only nice meal is the breakfast. The dinner is horrible. No matter what do not book at the Italian or the Greek restaurants in the hotel, it’s torture. I wouldn’t recommend booking this hotel at all. It’s totally overrated. It cannot be a five star hotel as advertised. It is definitely three stars or less in terms of service or quality and facilities. Most of the staff are friendly however, some are really arrogant and unprofessional. The rooms were not cleaned properly. The towels were not changed although the dirty ones were left on the floor. Water, coffee and basics were not added after it was consumed from the coffee tray. I don’t recommend booking this hotel at all. You’ll find better hotels in the same area with the same location with lower price and better services.

  4. The animation team was very inviting and Vlad always made an effort getting people involved with the activities. The activities were fun and included all ages.

The rest of the staff were also very inviting and helpful from reception to the bartenders, the hotel had lots of facilities to offer which was lovely we were put in a beach view room despite paying for a pool view but we didn’t mind as the room and view was lovely. I would definitely recommend to others.

  5. Good bits – Very nice hotel, staff are amazing and very helpful, very clean and the hygiene staff were always busy cleaning and tidying making sure the rooms and hotel were spotless, nice food in all restaurants, good location, nice rooms, bonus is that the Italian is available for lunch without booking. (Skip the next paragraph if you don’t want to read about our medical emergency and get to the bad bits about the hotel).

We unfortunately had a medical emergency due to neurological issues while we were staying here with our 3 year old son and ended up staying 3 days in hospital. Due to the restrictions in the hospital I was not allowed to stay at there with my son and wife so I had to leave after visiting hours and head back to the hotel. The hospital is only a short 5-10 minute taxi from the hotel. While my son was in hospital the staff at the hotel were amazing and could not do enough for us as a family. They were extremely supportive especially the reception staff (Christina, Iordanis and others whose names I didn’t catch). The restaurant staff were also amazing with providing supplies for me to take to the hospital (food, drink, milk for the toddler), the front of house ladies were so helpful (unfortunately I didn’t get their names either) and they were very accommodating with our seating requests due to the emergency we had on return to the hotel. The rest of the staff (waiters) were amazing with my son and one even gave him a dinosaur toy. The entertainment team were also amazing, Elena was amazing with my son and provided much needed support during our time there. Vlad was also very nice and supportive. I can’t thank the staff enough for their support and genuine concern.

Bad bits for me personally (if I have to be picky) is there is no clothes airer to dry wet clothes/towels so you just have to use the balcony railings and chairs. Evening entertainment is geared more towards adults most nights there’s no nightly “mini disco” or anything like that, kids entertainment does not have as much resources as other hotels we’ve stayed at but the entertainment team do a good job with what they have, there is an indoor play room with lots of toys and they do colouring and face painting etc, there is also a small park just outside the kids club where they do slip and slide/water balloons etc. Waiting times at the bars can be quite long when it’s busy and you have to wait for the bars to open to get drinks, there is no self service tea/coffee/cola/lemonade stations outside of the hotel rooms. The tea/coffee/minibar doesn’t get replenished so once it’s gone it’s gone. Hotel sits right under a flight path so lots of planes all day and night but you sort of get used to it and my son loved pointing out when a plane flew over and he really enjoyed looking at them. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff (restaurant, reception, hygiene) were all amazing, lovely clean hotel and I would say i don’t think you would regret staying there. A massive thanks once again to the staff at the hotel for all they have done for us.
