We had an amazing stay at ELaiolithos for our honeymoon! Helen and Pamela went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, providing us with great recommendations for places to go and making us delicious breakfasts and dinners. We stayed in the Zeus Cave Suite, and it was clear that every inch of the room (and hotel) was carefully and lovingly curated to reflect the beauty of Naxos. And of course, I have to mention the beautiful view. Hopefully we’ll be back soon!
Also, make sure to ask Helen about her mother’s store in Chalkio! We got some of our favorite (hand-woven) souvenirs there.
Our stay at ELaiolithos was perfect. We stayed in the Zeus cave suite which we absolutely loved. You get your own sunbeds by the pool with a stunning view of the mountains. It felt like a true relaxing retreat. The owner Helen was definitely a memorable part of our stay! She’s hilarious and she made our stay very personalized. She is also the chef at the hotel restaurant, and she made us a delicious traditional Greek feast for dinner using locally sourced ingredients. The area is quiet with only locals occasionally passing by in their cars from nearby villages. We would 100% come back here!
We loved every moment at Elaiolithos. Helen and Pamela were awesome. The food and the views cannot be beat. Helen had great tips for us and we were lucky enough to meet several of her family members. By the time we sadly left, we felt like family! We stayed in the Helen of Troy suite and it was beautiful. Helen suggested trips for us and we loved all of her suggestions. The cooking class felt more like sitting down with really good friends who knew how to cook. The olive oil experience was great. We also really loved the honey and bee experience. If you get a chance, go!! We spend some time after we left down at the beach but we kept talking about Helen’s beautiful resort. We already look forward to returning some day! Helen’s personality is an experience. Strong Greek woman that speaks her mind and kicks your senses with her amazing food. I will return to Naxos and stay here and eat the best food on the island. (We were here 5 days) The experience actually seems supernatural and most certainly unlike anything I have experienced around the world.
Staying at ELaiolithos is a unique and special experience! We loved our time here- the views are breathtaking, the setting is tranquil and Helen is an awesome host. The food is spectacular and I wish I could have brought Helen home to continue cooking for me. Truly a memorable time and wonderful base for exploring the beautiful island of Noxos.
