It is a must, especially when you are around, visiting the historical places in Vergina. The best soutzoukaki and the best paidaki I have tried for a long time..!! The rib-eye was also excellent and so where the grilled Florina’s red, sweet peppers..!! Pelagia (the owner), you have made a great job and a cozy atmosphere.
I came here with family after visiting the archaeological tombs next door and tried the fried cheese mix with meat (feta, ladotiri and other cheeses) and lost my mind (I do love cheese a lot). We also took the feta cheese with sunflower seeds with kiwi sauce which was an amazing combo of sweet and salty. Service was good and the chefs invited us to come to the kitchen and see the food and recipes being cooked live 🙂
Beautiful views and atmosphere, great food, big portions, very friendly staff. A treasure. Amazing in all aspects! We are coming back!
The meat was cooked dry on all four dishes we ordered. Chicken inedible. Burger blunt and dry. Aged beef steak destroyed despite I specified I wanted it medium rare. Service incredibly slow and low standards on a rather quiet day. Good atmosphere but too many flies. Pieces on the expensive side. Overall, a waste of money and time, to get there from Veria.
Great Taverna, definately off the beaten path but worth looking for…
A beautiful location, fabulous salads and very good meat!
