The beach is stunningly beautiful! Crystal clear turquoise waters! Most beautiful I’ve ever seen! Calming and relaxing! Suitable for swimming and snorkeling. We reached the beach in September 2024 by cruise ship. Beach has no facilities. It’s covered with perfectly white pebbles and it’s easier to walk with aquashoes.
Best view ever seen in with that seaside shore length. Little climbing, but very moderate. Clean waters, blue, beautiful people, excellent 🌇 sunset. There is a small bar up in the hill, very good food and a good Frappe, for the frappe lovers. But, also there is a mini bar with juices & beers 40 m from the sea. Enjoy
In general, I absolutely recommend everyone who wants to visit this beach, because it is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. The color of the water, incredible waves, pebbles and rocks behind – everything looks better than the Maldives.
Consider a few points before going to the beach.
! It takes at least an hour to get to the beach on foot. Going down is long, but not so difficult. + at the end in front of the beach there are at least 400 steep steps waiting for you. Returning back to the parking lot in 39 degree heat is another hell. I don’t understand why not organize some transfers, at least some golf carts or buses. (after all, you will have to climb the mountain back, which is also quite steep, and it is very, very difficult in the heat).
I would recommend to visit the beach on a boat that goes from Nidri and not to spend a lot of energy and time to climb on foot. (We visited the beach twice, the first time on foot, and the second time by ship. Of course, we liked the experience much more by ship, because it is much more pleasant to get there without an hour’s drive)
But, if you still go on foot, take a minimum of things with you (take €20 to rent an umbrella and a sunbed) or visit the beach in the morning, when there is shade from the rocks. There is a bar on the beach and in front of the steps there is a mini bar where you can also eat.
One of the best beaches I’ve been to in my life.
Important: it’s very challenging to climb up from the beach in the hot weather! please note that you need to walk ~1km down to the beach and then go down 400 steps. The way down is easy, but on your way up it’s quite a workout.
Bring plenty of water, a sun umbrella, some snacks.
When you made it to the beach, enjoy the perfect blue water ✨
Stunningly looking beach,
with soft sandy/small pebbles surface (water shoes are good choice) and easy entry into crystal clear turquoise water, good for swimming, snorkeling, sand and wave activities🌊,
loooooong enough for safe topless and naturist sunbathing.
Beach has no facilities.
⚠️Nearest parking lot is high above the beach, around 1,2-1,3 km of walking (15% slope) and 410 steep steps – it is hard even to go down with a basic stuffs, in sneakers, not to mention coming back by the stairway to heaven i mentioned.⚠️
Personally, i would visit it again and again, but only by the water.
