Terrible experience. Service completely unprofessional. First they lured us in with pizza, which they refused to sell us after sitting down at the table, because it is said to be only for children. The waiter tipped the fries right down my pants. Food very overpriced and at the lowest level of quality. It will grow worse than here I have never eaten anywhere, especially if you are in Greece. Worst restaurant experience in Greece.
We decided to eat here due to the positive reviews. The food was lovely, but whilst the staff appeared helpful at first, we felt like this changed once we ordered. Whilst waiting for a table, we were asked if we wanted a drink without being offered a menu, which was fine as we only wanted beers. We ordered two large beers, (expecting a 500ml or pint measurement as standard). The barman seemed helpful, saying a large beer was very large, and recommended a ‘normal’ size instead. The medium/ ‘normal’ size beer that arrived was 1L, in a boot, costing 12 euros each. This is not what the average person would expect or even want as a medium beer with a meal. Also, we ordered a simple pitta as our starter. The server repeated our order back to us, then proceeded to give us both pitta and garlic bread (we assumed this was what we ordered) they then charged us considerably more than what the pitta was listed as on the menu. We’ve never left a review online, but felt that this was important to warn others prior to going, as quite a sizeable amount was added to our bill. We also felt at the end of the meal that service seemed abrupt and rude, and we felt that we couldn’t dispute our order issues for the sake of ‘causing a scene’. Such a shame as the food itself was quite good.

I forgot to look at the reviews on Google because the connection for the restaurant was lost. we have been scammed with several people here, we were even afraid. people next to us told us that they got a frozen pizza out of the freezer (yes really). They had ants in there drinks (!) then another couple heard this and looked into their glass. all ants. We looked in the kitchen with another couple and saw that the food was not cooked ourselves but came from the freezer and microwave. even the meat comes from large numbers by mafia and is served here. We were warned about these types of places during our holiday and ended up in this situation. in case you are also late in reading this review and are now eating there. walk away or really really check your bill. They give a receipt without specification, so be sure to ask for this. a guy behind us paid €24 for a beer. We received a very high bill and the receipt was ‘lost’ by the service. The restaurant looks nice from the outside but be careful. I hope I can at least help someone with this review, but unfortunately it is still full every evening….
Well, I’ll start with the good parts. The food was nice, except for the fact that one person’s meal had raw chicken and had to be sent back.
Now the bad. Listen to the other reviews. To start with you get harasssed by the staff practically begging you to come in, and then when you do you are asked for drinks before you’ve even looked at the menu. Two of our group asked for a large beer, and what they brought out were massive 2L glasses that neither could even finish, and were €22 each. This was a trick, plain and simple. Nobody in their right mind would hear “large beer” and assume they meant that.
They constantly came round asking if we wanted so-called “free” extras, but thankfully we had twigged by then the kind of people they were, so we declined them. Do not accept, I’m sure they’ll only add them onto the bill. I got a pizza, nice but was definitely just a frozen one.
Overall, complete tourist trap. Don’t go here, go to the Veranda which is just opposite. The fact that these owners run three restaurants in the square says it all- they just want to extort as much money out of foreigners as they can.
Wish I had read the reviews before going here for dinner. Overpriced and not worth the money! not sure how you can charge €10 for just a tiny bowl of hummous and completely ridiculous that a large beer is considered 2 LITRES!! And then charged on your bill as €24+! Our final bill was just over €80 for 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks. We had more food and drinks that was far better at other restaurants in the area for half that price! Not to mention ‘the best table’ we were promised on the terrace was at the back and crawling with ants. Felt taken advantage of and upset that I wasted our money here.
