Stopped in for a couple of cocktails, they were fantastic! Our waiter was very friendly, because it is off-season, he chatted with us for quite a while and gave us good recommendations for things to do and places to check out while we are on the island. Loved the atmosphere – very instagram-worthy and cute!
No local wines. I asked for for Rhodes wines (amorgiano, Athiri or Muscat ) but they only have foreign or wines from other regions of Greece. Prices are also a bit over the average for the area.
The reason why we go to wine bars and pay the hefty premium is that we want to be educated, entertained and surprised by the wines someone chose to serve.
At first I was told they do not have any printed offer of wines by the glass (in a place that calls itself “by the glass”).
So I ordered and a glass was brought to my place without any presentation. In a place that calls itself “a winebar”.
The wine was very good, but the whole experience just lacked a justification of why the glass cost €7 in the end.
I highly recommend this wine bar and deli for anyone looking for a low-key and enjoyable dining experience. The combination of great wine, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit spot.
