Can’t fault the service provided by the staff, they are very welcoming and friendly.
The breakfast was good and delivered to our room every day, on time and at a time requested by us.
We had a room on the 2nd floor, which had a private hot tub in it. The only flaw is that it needs to be drained and refilled by yourselves every day (or at least the days you want to use it).
The pool area was very quiet due to half the rooms having their own private pools, so most of the time, it was just us by the pool anyway.
The location is right opposite the beach and next to some good local bars, restaurants and shops, which was very convenient.

It is a very nice Resort with modern rooms in gouves. Gouves is a village which is not to Touristic and therefore very quiet. If you want to relax, this is the best Location in Crete. The rooms are big and comfortable. Also the cleaning is okay. You have also a Big Pool behind the rooms. The breakfast is okay. All in all gouves is a good Place to relax and the hotel is very modern clean and quiet. We will be back for sure!
We had a nice few days at the resort. Magda is very kind and really does her best to making your stay perfect.
To resort itself has a lot of potential but still needs some work, it doesn’t feel ready yet. Half of the area still is wasteland with nothing but sand and dry ground. Also you have 0 privacy – there is a busy road in front and houses at the back, everyone can look directly at you. Some trees/plants or bamboo fencing would already do wonders. The room is modern but simple. Breakfast is okay.
The down side with the private terrace: no sun at all so you end up lying at the general pool..
We have stayed at Crete Resort Sea Side Suits in July for 10 nights and spent a wonderful time there. The suit was very comfy, water in the pool was warm, the view is amazing and we could enjoy the sunset every evening from our terrasse. Next to the hotel is a chillout bar, there are a lot of taverns and small shops around as well. We highly recommend this hotel. If you should go to Crete, you shouldn`t look any further this is the best place to stay. Magda is the best host we have every met. Thank you, Magda, we will definitely come back when we are in Crete again!
These newly built suites are incredibly well designed. The rooms have a kitchenette, king size bed, a living corner with a huge TV and dinner table and a private pool. It’s close to supermarkets & very nice restaurants.
The bus station to go to heraklion is also close by, it’s super practical.
We spent a lovely week there.
Magda is an adorable and super available host. Would totally recommend staying here for relaxing holidays.
Please note that the peaceful ambiance also depends on neighbors : I wish people would refrain from playing their music too loud by the pool, unfortunately manners aren’t for everyone!
