Introduction: An Overview of the City Center Hotel
Nestled in the heart of one of the city’s most exciting districts, the City Center Hotel serves as an excellent base for tourists looking to explore local attractions. Known for its strategic location opposite a popular casino, this hotel promises convenience and an exciting urban experience that intertwines entertainment and relaxation.
The Allure of a Prime Location
Location is everything, and the City Center Hotel does not disappoint. With key attractions, eateries, and beautiful beaches within a 10-20 minute walking distance, visitors will find themselves at the center of the action, allowing for spontaneous adventures and leisurely strolls through the vibrant area.
Comfort Meets Cleanliness: A Positive Note
Many guests have praised the hotel’s cleanliness and comfort, highlighting that it makes a satisfactory setting for a short stay. Mehmet Sahin remarked upon this as a significant plus, indicating that the hotel embodies a haven after a day of exploring.
A Culinary Experience to Improve
Despite its many strong points, the City Center Hotel does have room for improvement, particularly concerning its dining options. While the breakfast received mixed reviews, some guests enjoyed the variety, while others expressed disappointment in the quality of meals prepared by the hotel chef. This insight indicates an opportunity for the hotel to elevate its culinary offerings further.
The Friendly Faces of the Hotel Staff
Customer service can often make or break a travel experience, and at the City Center Hotel, most reviews reflect positivity towards the staff. Their friendliness and willingness to accommodate guests’ needs contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as noted by guests like Mark C, who highlighted how the staff made gluten-free guests feel at ease.
Rooms: A Mixed Bag of Expectations
The guestroom experiences have varied widely at this hotel. While some visitors found them suitable, others were less satisfied, describing the accommodations as outdated and deserving of refurbishment. Agnana S. pointed out that furniture and facilities felt more appropriate for a budget hostel than a hotel, with tales of issues like dirty carpets and malfunctioning showers.
Encountering Unpleasant Odors
In several reviews, guests like HeleMai Madisson mentioned a musty smell in the rooms, particularly in the closet, which could detract from the overall experience. Addressing odor issues may prove advantageous for the hotel in maintaining its reputation and ensuring guest comfort.
Light-Poor and Noise-Filled Rooms
Some rooms reportedly suffer from poor lighting and noise disturbances, with residents noting that they had to rely on dim wall lamps for illumination. Given that light and sound can significantly impact sleep quality, the hotel should consider modifications to enhance the rooms conducive to relaxation and restful nights.
Balancing Price and Quality
With feedback pointing toward expectations of a higher star rating, the City Center Hotel presents an opportunity for potential guests to weigh its reasonable pricing against the amenities offered. Although some describe the experience as two-star quality, others interpret it as budget-friendly, allowing visitors to invest in local experiences rather than lavish hotel features.
Enhancing Facilities: An Opportunity for Growth
The need for renovations surfaced frequently among reviews, particularly concerning the elevator, bathrooms, and overall decor of the hotel. The City Center Hotel could attract more repeat visitors and positive reviews through strategic improvements and a fresh redesign.
Proximity to Attractions: The Casino Experience
Being located opposite a casino is undoubtedly a draw for tourists seeking nightlife and entertainment. Whether trying your luck at the tables or enjoying live shows, this strategic positioning offers guests an electrifying mix of leisure and excitement right on their doorstep.
Breakfast Delights and Dietary Needs
While some guest experiences regarding breakfast have been mixed, it remains an essential aspect of the stay, and the highlight for many. For guests with dietary restrictions, like gluten intolerance, the City Center Hotel equips its kitchen to accommodate various needs, ensuring breakfast can cater to the health-conscious traveler.
A Home Base for Local Exploration
The City Center Hotel is more than just a place to sleep; it serves as a launching pad for tourists eager to absorb the local culture. With various art, dining, and shopping experiences nearby, visitors can easily enjoy the unique offerings of the city, enriching their travel journey.

The hotel was nice, I liked its cleanliness and comfort, it was a separate attraction opposite the casino. The only problem is that the chef in the kitchen doesn’t know her job a bit. Whenever she sees someone, she asks “Which room are you staying in?” This question is too ridiculous to ask in a society. The reception staff was very modest.
We stayed in this hotel for one week. The experience was decent thanks to the the staff that was very friendly and to the breakfast which was okay. However, the room that we received was worthy of a hostel, with old furniture, without a closet with shelves, the shower barely worked and the carpet in the hallway was very dirty. The conditions offered are rather for a 2-star hotel.
If you overlook the shortcomings it’s good enough for a short stay.
Location was good in a sense everything was within 10-20 min walking distance. Breakfast surprised with a variety. Close to the beach.
There was a musty smell in the room, that didn’t totally disappear, especially in the closet.
The room was very, very dark, there was an abandoned building (former hotel) right next to the balcony which meant no light got in the room, so you had to keep the lights on no matter of the time of day. And the light system was not well thought out in the room – no ceiling lamp, just three small, dim wall lamps.
The rooms definitely need to be refreshed.
There was a constant noise coming outside, so not for the light sleepers.
The stuff is amazing. For anyone with gluten free diet, don’t worry a bit, they’ve got you covered 💪
Reception is alright. Elevator, rooms and most importantly the bathrooms definitely need renovations.
