Real traditional Greek food, no pretentious just excellent food rooted in tradition.
We had the stuffed zucchini’s with lemon sauce and lots of Dill, the slow cooked lamb with thyme and white wine cooked in a terracotta pot.
Just 2m from the sea under the tamarisk trees, heavenly.
My scoring is 3 = as expected based on price essentially. 4 is excellent!
Fabulous food, a million dollar view, attentive staff. Fresh ingredients used in a traditional manner in local dishes.
The Greek salad was fresh, vibrant in taste and colour. Wonderful palette aeakener after a harrowing drive on the wrong do de of the road to get here…. In a souped “down” FIAT 500…… It was a good job the speed limit was 40…..🤠 the calamari to a local recipe was outstanding. Red, which was initially surprising, but tender, popping with flavour of wine and malt vinegar Sardines are one of my favourites and these were special in a lovely oil, lemon dressing. Ama ing…. Now time for a swim.
Great traditional Greek taverna with a stunning location. Highlight was Greek salad and chick pea soup! Lovely staff !
The most decent place we ate during our stay on the island. Nothing extraordinary, but it offered a good balance between quality and portion sizes.
Tips: Expect to spend around 30 euros per person for two main dishes, a salad, fried potatoes, and 2 beers.
Wow. This place is lovely, we had a lovely table at the far end of the taverna, the view was stunning. Our food was excellent. I had a Greek salad without cheese, then swordfish and chipped potatoes. My husband couldn’t resist the cheese pie in honey, then a lamb stew also with chipped potatoes. The service was good, the beers very cold and it was reasonably priced.
PS: we dining twice more – it was all delicious.
