Perfection & Beauty of Ortodox church on small islet connected with bridge….and lovely place to light candle.🇬🇷🍀
Beautiful monastery with a very nice view to the sea all around!
A unique picturesque church and monastery. Truly great site to visit and photo op.
I came here for the first time in 1977 as a teenager. Still love it as I did the first day I experienced it. Great beach a few hundred meters north of it.
We got married here June 27. The padres and church manager were beyond nice and helpful. It’s not easy to get legally married in Greece when you’re from the USA. Tons of paperwork that needs translated to Greek, then sent over for approval. Then if the priests actually agree to do it, you then have to take the everything to city hall the next day for their approval and stamp.
Our wedding attire never got through customs, but the help from everyone involved with this monastery made up for everything! We couldn’t have been happier!!!
