To be fair nothing incredible; the burgers were nowhere near as good as the price would indicate. The free appetizers were basically stale bread and some leftover vegetables. Being seated next to smoking people certainly didn’t help with the impression and the service was a bit slow in my opinion. Out of all places I visited on Crete one of the least enjoyable.
Great quality of food, even if the prices seem a bit expensive.
The menu variety was excellent.
(i suggest trying their custom Ice Tea, it’s just excellent.)
Staff service was kind, fast and efficient.
Visited many times in the first week of May as we were visiting a conference close by, what a great place! They have a large variety of items on the menu and the quality is very good. Also, a great mix of locals and tourists visit this place. Very nice and mostly helpfull employees as well. Though this place is a bit expensive compared to other cafes nearby.
We ordered a club sandwich with juice and had some lemon pie later. Everything was very good. The service was fast considering the number of people in the place and how busy the staff was. They were polite and friendly. The place was very clean, including the restrooms! The background music was very good and at the right volume (not really low but not too loud so you cannot talk). I totally recommend it and I will go back next time I’m in Heraklion.
We sat down on the terrace and it took some tike for a waiter to come, even though there we not many people.
We ordered an appetizer which was bread, olives, cherry tomatos, Skordailia dip and some baked pita chips. This was a nice dish.
We also ordered a veggie pizza and the carbonara spaghetti. The pasta came like 5 minutes after the appetizer and the pizza took way longer. This wasn’t nice because we were still eating the appetizer.
Next to this the main dishes were not really good. The pizza was a verry thick dough and even more cheese, the veggies were nice though. And the pasta was the worst. It was spaghetti for two people with like one mushroom and one slice of bacon mixed into it. So way to much pasta for a one person dish and too few mushrooms and bacon inside it.
Not the best experience and for the pricing it was even worse compared to other restaurants in the area.
