Booked through booking and in the description says sea view 180 euros 2 night. When we arrived it was a small room facing a backyard. Receptionists very unkind saying I do not care you can cancel it is subject to availability…. AVOID!!
Unfortunately I haven’t slept all night. Maybe I had the noisiest room in the hotel near the stairs. I heard every single sound from lobby and reception area. And somebody coughed early the morning, stealing the only hope to fall asleep.
The hook in the bathroom fell on the floor when I took a towel. It was quite heavyweight, I’ve damaged my foot.
The room is small but clean, the location is good.
Had a very warm welcome and check in was easy and fast. The room was clean & comfortable. Bathroom & shower cubicle was very small but manageable. Looked as though the hotel had been newly renovated and had a fresh feel to it.
It’s close to the harbour, waterfront and restaurants so a great location. We enjoyed our time there and would stay again. We were especially pleased to learn we could leave some of our belongings at the hotel until later after check-out so we didn’t have to lug heavy stuff around with us all day.
In the middle of the city, nice clean rooms, helpful staff, i recommend it.
I stayed a couple of nights at the Catherine hotel and found it very comfortable. The staff were most helpful and spoke good English. I was en route to Bodrum in Turkey and when I found I could not take my motorbike, it was no problem for me to leave it there for the rest of the week. I am most grateful to the staff for keeping an eye on it. Highly recommended Hotel. Thank you
