It is close to the restaurants and port and it has friendly staff.
But we paid for breakfast and it was very poor, not even 1 vegetable. The balcony doors were flimsy and to be honest if you have valuable things you’ll think twice before leaving them in the room. You can hear everything that moves during the night and we were ‘lucky’ to share some girls relationship drama in the middle of the night 🙄. No parking spaces!!!! If you travel light it is ok, but if you have many luggages definitely no. Bathroom looked dirty especially the toilet đźš˝
This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at, by far. If you are looking to stay here, I recommend looking elsewhere. I had numerous issues during my stay, each 1 star worthy.
1. The air conditioning did not work at all during my four-night stay. I raised the issue to staff multiple times and was repeatedly told that they would send a technician to my room, this was a lie, the technician never came. My internal room temperature stayed at 35 degrees celsius / 95 degrees fahrenheit morning and night. Whenever I was in the room, I felt like I was close to passing out. I was constantly sweating. Sleeping was impossible.
2. When I checked in, I was given a mosquito light because “there are sometimes mosquitos in the room”, boy was this an understatement. My room was FILLED with mosquitos and other bugs. To make matters worse, I couldn’t shield myself from them by sleeping under the sheet because of the scorching heat. I left with bites galore. The bugs combined with the heat was miserable, I was honestly better off sleeping in the jungle.
3. The wifi is horrible. You can check your emails every once in a while but don’t expect to do much else.
4. The cold/warm water did not work in my room. I could only take showers using BOILING hot water. I am not exaggerating, I typically love hot showers but this was close to hell. Took the quickest showers of my life here.
5. And for the most frustrating/disgusting occurrence: at 10 PM while I was in bed, a man I’d never seen before entered my room. I yelled at him to get out because I was naked with nothing covering me (had to sleep naked due to the heat), he didn’t care and insisted that I come downstairs to pay with my card because booking.com messed up my reservation??? AT TEN PM. As a solo female traveler, this was terrifying. He did not care. I asked him if I can fix it in the morning since i’m already in bed and it’s late, he says no and quickly leaves before I can respond. So yes, I had to get up, put on clothes, and walk to reception at 10 PM, in the dark. I slept with a chair against my door for the rest of my stay.
I do not recommend this hotel. I’m not sure where the good reviews come from, but the customer service is trash and every aspect of the hotel needs work. If I wasn’t on a backpacking budget, I would’ve left asap.
The pool area is amazing and the staff aswell. The Kiwi woman working here is amazing!
Close to the beach and scooter/car rental.
What an amazing hotel! Not only is the location great, the accommodation was so nice, with a little place outside to sit, doors that can open from your room that lead to the pool, which is another fantastic thing about this hotel, the pool. Really nice staff, great breakfast, cute kitties that will sneak into your room if you keep your door open and a quiet neighborhood. We only had one night to stay here, but wish we had one more! Go here if want some quiet time for yourself, but not to far away from the centre.
Very well located in Parikia, we walked from the port to the hotel with our luggage without any issues. The ambiance was great with a nice clean pool and plenty of sitting space. The rate for the room was probably the cheapest we had for our whole greece trip and a simple breakfast was included which we had not realized therefore a nice surprise. It is not a fancy breakfast but definitely well appreciated on our part. The kittens on site were absolutely adorable and really friendly. The owners were very nice and the facilities were very clean. We were able to let our luggage on site the day of our check out before the ferry for many hours and were even invited to lay around the pool well after we were supposed to leave which we did! Definitely would stay there again.
