  1. The place is historically a monument well preserved and open to the public to visit as a quiet bar – coffee house and offers a nice snacks if someone is hungry.. the floor is a wonderful mosaic, and the excellent preserved (real captain’s home) house gives the opportunity to go back to history exploring the great way of living. The owner (Savas) is extremely friendly and polite ready to help you with information about the history of his place , and also the hot spots on the island for excellent food and visiting places outside of tourist areas. Take a time to visit the small little shop with books of poems of his stepson – unfortunately in Greek language, who described love and compassion with nice simple words touching deep inside the heart. Definitely a place to keep in my heart and if possible to visit again

  2. Been coming to Rhodes for 20+ years. Every time we are in Lindos we seek out the Captains Bar , for its ambience and nostalgia. Every year we get lost trying to find it, but always worth the effort. Great place

    The ambiente is very pleasant.
I tried to make joke and to order an Armenian coffee, but the waiter didn’t understand the joke. 🤣🤣🤣

  4. I stopped here for a refreshing drink. The charismatic owner was very friendly and talked of his future dream to pass the bar to his children and spend his retirement fishing. The bar is a hidden gem. Great music and atmosphere with a small museum at the back. The toilets were well maintained. I would happily visit again.
