Fantastic and charming traditional Greek food cooked by Mama. We came here after seeing the sunset near the lighthouse and stumbled upon it since it was a convenient stop. Such warm and genuine service. A great place to just unwind, take your time and enjoy the ambiance. We had fried calamari, moussaka, spaghetti with meat sauce and a special yogurt dessert that was made special by mama.
Barbara (I think that was her name), I really loved coming by your restaurant. We were there in the low season, no crowd and hence we had the whole place to ourself. The view from the restaurant is amazing! The food itself was pretty good too. Like most Greeks she offered us a dessert on the house. It was a simple, grated carrots in syrup with yogurt(not sure if it has a Greek name) but the fact that she thought we should get a taste of her house dessert was very genuine! The pork & shrimp that we ordered were also tasty! I really hope I come back to Santorini to go back to all the places I’ve been to again.
OMG! So delicious!!!! Mom’s is a great cook! Grilled eggplant is a starter but the portion was enough – filled me up. Everything is very fresh! You won’t be disappointed!
Very cosy and “sweet home” place! Middle (even low) prices. The owner of this restaurant are a Greek couple! They cook by old Greek traditional recipes… very, very delicious! Still open during winter time and I doubt it is the only one in the southern most part of the island. Food is great and delicious. I personally enjoy the hospitality of the hostess and the “vegetable jam” on yogurt.
