Truly a gem! Magical experience! Dishes are piece of art. Wine pairing is on point. We tried a few small produce ones that should be more popular! 11 our of 10. Thank you
Overpriced for the quality of food it offers. 70€ per person for the sharing menu is expensive for the quality of food, service, and the atmosphere we were offered. I honestly can’t single out the best plate as all of them were average, with the exception of the smoked pork chop and the mackerel, which was by far the worst, and we could not eat. The building outside needs some renovation. If you go there before the sun sets, you can see it is not properly maintained. There are definitely other gourmet seafood restaurants in Sifnos you can eat better paying this same price per person. The evaluation is made in good faith and is only intended to help the owners increase the quality bar to meet the price rate since we believe this restau has the potential.
The cost/value ratio, for me, is a little off. Very pricey and the food was good, but not as stellar as it should be for the price, vibe, setup of the restaurant. Service was okay, not great but definitely not bad. Again, the quality of the service considering the price and experience they are aiming to create was just a bit incongruent. Overall, it still was a nice dining experience and a very unique situation. I just saw it as a place whose potential has not quite peaked yet.
Really good flavours, while far from being a gourmet restaurant. Reasonable portions and high-quality ingredients but definitely overpriced for what one gets. Well curated wine list with good and fairly valued wines.
Overall rating: a really nice experience if you are willing to pay more for the ambience rather than the actual menu.
Do not waste time or money.
Very disappointed food was so bad and the service horrible. The slow cooked beef with pasta (couscous to me, not pasta) lacked flavor and the tuna smelled and tasted like bad fish. I’m not going to point everything else out as it’s too much to say. The wine glasses were left empty for the whole time, despite having a dedicated ‘wine lady.’ We waited so long for dessert, which was horrible and didn’t taste like lavender or bread pudding. They asked us to leave as the table have reservations lol and asked for tips LOL
