Exceptional hospitality from all the staff, especially Christos, they helped us arrange transport and activities during our stay. The rooms were clean, and spacious (triple room). The breakfast was nice and the selection varied daily, they had both savoury and sweet options. The pool area was beautiful. Fira centre was walkable (slight incline), would recommend!
Christos and team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Cared for all his guests and made sure we felt welcomed and had the best stay possible. Couldn’t have been happier with our time in Santorini and everything was made better coming back at night to a big friendly smile!
Excellent communication from booking to departure. Christos was particularly helpful in arranging airport and port transfers for us, and an absolutely lovely gentleman! Our executive room with private hot tub was spacious, modern and clean. Lovely to arrive to cold water in the fridge too after a long flight, landing way past midnight. Breakfast had a great selection, lots of traditional options, and drinks at the pool bar were great, too. The pool set up was excellent, no reserving sunbeds etc which is rare in today’s society, and was just a really chilled vibe all round. Location excellent, but an uphill trek into Fira itself, so bear this in mind if limited mobility etc (but that’s the nature of the area). Would definitely return for a relaxing break to Santorini; we had the best time!
Callia Retreat Suites was perfect for us on our trip to Santorini. It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the main town in Fira which has beautiful sunsets and plentiful food, drink and shopping options. Due to its location, the retreat is quiet and serene which is perfect to enjoy its beautiful pool, of which there were always plenty of lounger and seat options available. There was bar service available poolside with a food menu which was fantastic and reasonably priced compared to most bars in town – recommend the Pina Coladas!
Christos and Margarita and their entire staff were lovely and friendly and provided fantastic customer service. Margarita helped us plan the perfect trip up to Oia to see the famous sunset. The team was very hospitable – Christos came around with some complimentary shots a couple of times which was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great quality and variety each day was nice.
However, I would say that the shower not having a door was mildly inconvenient as the bathroom floor would get wet. I would also say that the poolside could be quite slippery, even in shoes, and would suggest that visitors are notified upon checkin so they can be careful and that the surface be changed to something non-slip.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to stay here again should we ever be lucky enough to return to the lovely island of Santorini.
We had a great stay at the Callia Retreat Suites. Great location and near to the Fira Square. The property is cleaned, rooms are of good size and ours came with the balcony.
Breakfast was great with many options. Staffs were friendly and attentive to the needs. They treat customers with lots of respect and kindness. A great place to stay
