A spacious museum with an impressive collection of mostly ecclesiastical items. The personnel are most kind and the the building is also interesting in itself. It is well worth the little time required to visit it.

Small museum spread over two floors, focused on Byzantine art. The paintings are rescued from churches after the earthquake of 1953.
It was €4 each for adults, kids were free and €2 for an OAP. Staff were friendly, spoke English and were able to answer questions.
There aren’t many facilities inside and it was very hot but the views from the first floor windows across the square were lovely. Most of the information about the paintings was in Greek but we just used Google Lens to translate.
