My partner and I recently returned from an 8 night stay at the Bitzaro.
The hotel is beautifully styled, modern, clean, and well located in a peaceful area just a stones throw from the centre of town and directly across from a small (but nice) pebble beach.
The room was compact but very well designed and fitted out to a very high standard.
Note: I would recommend only taking carry on luggage if you stay here because of the economical amount of space available to put belongings.
Our booking came with a breakfast. Being a smaller boutique hotel I thought it would just be a few continental options, but the friendly staff offer you a choice of options cooked fresh, which was a nice touch.
The cleaning staff were very good, and our room was always done to a high standard, as were the immaculately clean public areas of the hotel.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel benefits from having a 24hr reception service.
I would definitely stay here again.

Incredible hotel! I recommend it 100%. I came with my husband for a week to discover the island and our stay in Bitzaro Hotel was more than perfect! The room is beautiful, super clean, the service was kind and caring, the breakfast was delicious and the waiters were more than kind! It was my birthday and they did a surprise, they had a chocolate cake for me and the room full of balloons and flowers! It was indeed the sweetest surprise.

Had a great stay here, was only one night but would definitely stay again. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent. On arrival we were greeted by lovely Pedro on reception who helped us with our suitcases. He explained everything really clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. I booked a room with a Mountain View and a balcony, it overlooked the street behind the hotel and had a nice view from the balcony of the mountains. In the morning when woke up there was a service going on in the church a street over and I could hear the congregation singing! So beautiful!
The breakfast was a buffet, I’m vegan and there was plenty of choice for me ranging from fresh fruit and cereal. They had oat / soya / almond milk for teas/coffees too.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all brilliant and kind.
Pedro helped us to book a taxi to our next destination before finishing his shift and his colleague helped us with our luggage again before we left.

Pretty views! Some people said in reviews that they could hear planes taking off and landing but I didn’t hear any! It was such a nice hotel lovely and in a quiet area, felt pretty safe and out of the way. This area of Zakynthos felt less touristy so it was nice! The beach is literally right outside to the left not even 5 mins! Very quiet beach and if you keep walking to the left it gets more quiet and peaceful! We got bed and breakfast and the food was amazing!!!!! Love the buffet too definitely get the pancakes and chocolate they are so tasty! Beautiful views the room was really nice and the bathroom was big and spacious loved the shower it was pretty big! And cute little balcony too!
We had an amazing stay! Everyone is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very clean and comfortable!
Restaurants and bars are walking distance and the parking is also a great addition!
