My husband and I stayed at the Belvedere the last 5 days while vacating in Santorini . Every single aspect of this hotel is top notch and 5 star quality . The Belvedere is within easy walking distance to the best restaurants and every shop you can imagine . The employees are kind , welcoming and super attentive . I’ve never seen such attention to detail and accommodation to their guests. We didn’t want to leave ! I would highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Santorini. Chris the manager and his staff I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a truly memorable experience and stay while in Santorini that we will never forget .
Rooms are great, not the best ever but more than enough. Location and view is what you’re paying for. Service is incredible and very friendly!
The hotel location is amazing. Close enough to Fira, but away from all the cruise ship crowd. The view from the hotel is amazing and the ambiance is a very relaxed. Their pool area is fun and their staff are always ready to serve. They have a good selection for breakfast.
The only con is that each room requires a physical key to be inserted to keep the electricity going. I don’t hold that against the hotel to conserve power. This can become frustrating though when you come back from a very hot day to cool off in the room. We also had a room to sleep 3 people, and the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough to cool it fast.
Overall, a good hotel.
The hotel is located centrally, giving east access to both Firostefani and Fira. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a second bedroom and a private sundeck and loungers. The room was large and comfortable, but the bathroom was quite basic. Staff throughout the hotel are great and eager to please. Breakfast was also very good and varied with gluten-free options. Highly recommended.
I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but this hotel earned it. The staff was wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The location was great, in easy walking distance to Fira. Views were incredible from our balcony or the pool. Breakfast by the pool and drinks from the pool bar were tasty. Rooms were very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. Only thing to consider is (like most places in Greece) is it is not “friendly” for people with disabilities, or the elderly. There is not an elevator in this hotel. This didn’t apply to us, but wanted to share.
