Good experience if you come in on your first day in Greece. We were served good raki and pie, overall we enjoyed it. Come around 19:30 and you have a table for sure.

Went there today (17 August) with my girlfriend. We ordered a mix grill for 2 people that costed 18 euros. Judging from the reviews and people there we thought it would be a nice place to eat something of high quality. Little did we know that it was the exact opposite. The food took around 30 minutes to arrive and when it did, the amount of meat in the dish was disappointing. There was one sausage, one stake, 2 burgers and a weird chicken fillete. The sausage was pretty mediocre nothing fancy and nothing weird. The pork burger mince wasn’t made well and we could see chunks of meat coming out of it. I tried a chicken stake, it was not very well cooked and so wasn’t the chicken fillete. We cut it in half and it was red, something you don’t want to see while eating chicken. The pork stake was not that bad. Overall this dish could be made better in so many ways, but the cook decided to sell us the most rotten meat they had in the kitchen. The only good food in this dish was the potatoes (I counted 12). The bread they brought us was like gum and they charged us 3 euros for it even though we didn’t order it and didn’t intend to. The dessert consists of 2 things. One is a cheesecake and the other one is an ekmek kantaifi. The cheesecake’s cream was really good, but the base tasted like it was made from overbaked coffee cookies. The ekmek was delicious though. Finally, the Raki they served us had a really weird taste, like liquid hel, and as I have tried many different quality Rakis this one wasn’t one of them. Had no problem with the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat as there are so many other great quality places in Herakion but it’s up to you if you want to try it. I warned you.
They cheat tourists!!!! We had 7 euro for WATER on our bill, which is more than they charge for wine and 2 euros extra for bread we did not order and no one told us we need to pay extra (in other taverns bread and/or water were free of charge and normal cost of water is approx. 1-2 euros is a bar).
Place is nice, food is good. From the first view is absolutely the same place like all another on this street. But the wine is so expansive for this type of “tavernaki” we paid 9€ for 1 litres of home wine, wich one was 6 point from 10
