LOOOVED this hotel so much!!! It was so inviting and relaxing the second I arrived. And those views! If you’re looking for a hotel that values complete privacy and sophistication this is it. The staff were so helpful, the food was fresh and delicious. I loved that you could walk to the beach which was free and barely anyone around. There was also the cutest little Greek tavern just below the hotel that is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bard de Sol and were thoroughly impressed by the culinary expertise of their chef, Foti in his restaurant Walnut Grove Mykonos. From breakfast to dinner, Foti’s creations delighted our taste buds and left us wanting more.
The breakfast spread, curated by Foti, was a gastronomic delight. Each morning, we were greeted with a wide array of freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruits, and made-to-order omelets and more. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients showcased Foti’s commitment to excellence.
For dinner, we had the opportunity to sample some of Foti’s signature dishes, and they did not disappoint. The flavors were bold and innovative, with each dish expertly crafted to perfection. Whether it was the succulent seafood platter or the mouthwatering lamb chops, every bite was a culinary revelation.

Huge fan of the minimalist and sleek design. It is a brand new hotel with courteous, attentive and friendly staff. The view from the room is excellent, and we loved the breakfast offered by the communal pool.
The location is slightly far from the busy touristy sites in Mykonos but still within walking distance to a family friendly beach, some restaurants, a mini market, car rentals, as well as a bus stop which can take you to the ports and Mykonos town (lots of stairs involved though).
There are only something like 13 rooms available at Bard de Sol, which means we did not see a lot of other visitors during our stay even at the end of August. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quieter holiday with a relaxing vibe.
We had a fantastic 7 night stay at this brand new boutique hotel. The rooms are large, beautifully finished to a luxury standard with calming feature walk in micro cement rain showers, king beds, lounges, stone vanities… we even had our own heated jacuzzi on the balcony to watch the sunset and our friends had rooms with pools and large sun beds which we spent hours laying around. The room was quiet and had shutters to block out the light when we wanted to sleep in. There’s a well equipped gym and sauna. Nothing was a problem for the staff, who were attentive,
and always smiling and the food in the restaurant was so incredible I ordered the perfect fry up with fresh orange juice 5 days in a row and the chicken souvlaki for lunch was so tender and tasty with hand cut chips and tzatziki or salad. Away from the noise of town, but within reach by a taxi, cheap bus or ferry we ate like locals at the highly rated Laminos Tavern which was steps away; and direct stair access to the beach, shop/ATM and other restaurants meant we didn’t feel isolated when we just wanted to have a chilled day after a night out partying. Would highly recommend, was great value for money.
