Balsamico is one of the best traditional suits around the old village of Hersonissos. At the moment we stepped in, all the members were extremely friendly and polite with us. The area of the pool was our cozy spot where we were able to order food and drinks at any time during the day. Our room was so nicely decorated based in stone details and the most important, it was clean and provided shampoo and shower gel. We will visit them again soon!
5* from the heart. Charming location with little number of rooms and guests. We booked our stay with breakfast and dinner. Food was fantastic! Owner and more important host is Maria, very warm and likeable person. Balsamico Suites is perfect for couples who look for a more personal hosting and want to feel comfortable. The old village is just very few metres away with some great restaurants too, downtown is 10 min by taxi but also reachable by bus.
We have truly enjoyed our 5 days stay at Balsamico. The hotel is very well maintained and the hygiene standard was high. We had the room with jacuzzi and the host Maria would clean the jacuzzi for us everyday. The breakfast was excellent (the menu changes everyday). Most importantly, my husband and I were very well looked after by Maria, she was never tired of giving us tips, offering help to us and because we had to take an early ferry to Santorini she even packed a lunch box for my husband and I. We felt like kids again being looked after by our mothers.
This hotel is run by very warm hearted family. They put effort in every detail. Not just the hotel itself, that is beautifuly furnished in greek and modern style, but you really feel like its your home. Im a world traveler but after first time staying there I knew I will return for sure. And I did. I highly recommend.
Everything was amazing. The food downstairs is affordable and very delicious, I wish we would have eaten there more often but the sandwich and salads can be highly recommended! Pool is nice and clean and the hygiene system is perfectly executed for Covid times, everything is basically outside. The rooms were clean, had coffee and everything you wish for, maybe a minor remark would be to have a softer matress, but the pillows are super comfortable so all round comfortable to sleep in! The rooms are gorgeously designed. Go there and meet Maria the owner, a real Greek gem!
