This is the perfect location when staying in Naousa, because it is close enough to town but right on the beach as well. The breakfast was great and the rooms were stunning. The housekeeping staff was very attentive as well. What really stood out to us and the reason I had to review was the front desk staff. They were absolutely incredible. They handled every reservation, even last minute changes we had, and they set up the most incredible boat tour for us. We often went to them in the morning to ask for advice and they were quick to help. One morning, we asked about transportation to some of the nearby towns, and they recommended a car rental. They called the car rental company and had one in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. We didn’t have many plans going into the trip, and they made it so special and so very easy. I can’t thank them enough for all of their help!
Absolutely stunning! Paros was the first of three islands we visited during our honeymoon (May 2024). Neither of us had been to Greece and it did not disappoint! We arrived a few days after our wedding and we just needed to relax and enjoy our new status as Mr. and Mrs.!
When we arrived, the front desk staff could not have been more welcoming – well wishes on the wedding, suggestions on where to dine, and things to do. They used a WhatsApp chat that served as a 24/7 means of communication – very convenient!
Thyme restaurant is wonderful -we enjoy breakfast there in the mornings and more than 1 bottle of wine after returning from dinner (very easy walk to Naousa). Attentive and friendly staff.
The Avant Mar has lovely beach accommodations (chairs, umbrellas, towels, and food service). It was a smidge too cold for us to use the pool, but it looks awesome.
A big perk – having access to showers after check out! Our ferry left after dinner, but we were able to enjoy a day at the beach and then shower before leaving.
Shout out to Anna, Annezina, Katerina, Martha, Chara, Vasilis, Kostas (x2), Alexandros, and George for making our stay so much better.

We went to Piperi Beach where Avant Mar has their sun lounges. Piperi Beach is a public beach. If you lie on their sun lounges their bully security guards want to charge you 100 euros per sun lounge per day!! According to Avant Mar’s guests, the guests also have this charge added to their room bill. We had 3 security guards trying to charge us 100 euros each. We told them No, of course and to move the sun lounges off the public beach. So beware!! I asked the security guards the name of the resort and they lied about the name. I wonder why??
Just spent a wonderful and relaxing 4 days at Avant Mar, and highly recommend for anyone traveling the Paros. Accommodations were incredible but the staff were extremely attentive. The location can’t be beat as it’s steps away from our favorite Paros town, Naoussa. Highly recommend for others traveling to Paros.
When you invest in such a dreamy location, you should take care of the place. Why therefore you’re not keeping the beach and the surroundings of your hotel clean? How come there’a so much trash around your luxury property? Don’t you care at all about the island?
It costs nothing for you to send 2-3 people 2-3 times/week to collect the trash and dispose of it properly. It’s such a shame to see you don’t care.
