Culinary Experiences: A Mixed Bag

Dining experiences at the Atrium Hotel have garnered mixed reactions from guests. Service at Its Core: A Double-Edged Sword

The reviews highlight the dedication of the hotel staff, with several guests noting their willingness to help create a pleasant stay, as emphasized by Steven. However, some reviews, like those from Kent Pritchett, indicate that service could be improved, suggesting a need for a more guest-centered approach.

Beach Access: A Journey Worth Taking

Although the beach is not directly accessible from the hotel, the path is just a short trek away. While some guests found the walk to the beach to be inconvenient due to a lack of proper pathways, others like Kieran Giles found it manageable—emphasizing the potential for memorable beach days once you arrive.

Entertainment Options: Leisure Awaits

While there are various leisure facilities available, including a billiard room and exercise area, the reviews suggest that some amenities come with unusual limitations. Kent mentions coin-operated games and restricted access to exercise equipment, highlighting a quirky aspect of the guest experience at the hotel.

  1. Beautiful, lovely hotel. Big enough for all the space you need. We had a perfect room with a beautiful view. Lovely bathroom, all new and clean. It has a pool, and also a little smaller one for the decor I guess but we used it four our 1 year kid. By the pool it was a salvamar keeping things safe. I didn’t quite enjoyed the food. It was not the one I expected to find. I love Greek authentic food but the restaurant could not offer unfortunately. A lot of room and spaces for your time there, also one for the kids but don’t expect too much of it. The service was great, everybody very nice for you. Another negative aspect was that the beach is not too easy to arrive from the hotel. No specific road. It is not far, but you have to take the road where there is no proper space for you to walk and then pass through a small forest road in order to reach to the beach. I love the time we spent here, a very relaxing kind of hotel.

  2. Where to start, service is not led by guest experience but staff convenience. Self check in whilst staff look on and offer help (just check us in!) Enforced welcome drink of orange squash?!? Not enough beds by pool. Breakfast rubbish, no nice hotel touches. The crowning glory and that which I cannot get over is a €10 deposit on the pool towels… which you need to take to reception each day to refresh?!?! It could be so much better with a little loving care and focus in the guest experience.

  3. Over a month exploring the Greek isles and this is by far the weirdest place we stayed. Yes, the views from the pool and our room were great but the vibe here is very strange. Started with a welcome drink for 3 adults, but they gave my 21 yr old daughter a glass of fruit juice instead of the grappa served to my wife and I. Then there are rules for everything. There is a pool bar that serves food but you can’t have food around the pool. Huh? You must go to an eating area to have your food. You can have pool towels but you have to put down a 10€ deposit per towel. There are signs to the beach throughout the hotel but the track across a busy road and down to the beach is easy. They don’t have beach chairs or sun-beds for their patrons. In other words, the Atrium is NOT a beach hotel. You can, however, rent a sun-bed from the Palace hotel for 30€. They have a very small exercise room that is free, but you have to book time and some of the machines didn’t work. And you have to get a key to use the treadmill. We didn’t use the billiard room and the fuse ball table after we were told you need to put a coin in the machine. Daily cleaning of the room consisted of pulling the sheet and duvet up on the bed (I could have done that) and no pillow fluffing.
If you decide to stay in this area, skip this hotel and stay on the beach side.

  4. What a beautiful hotel, the building is so well designed and captivates the feel of a luxury old Greek building, the mix of stone and marble along with the small interior design make you feel so comfortable and relaxed.

The team do make this place perfect from the Manager Chris and his team they can’t do enough to make you happy.

The place is so clean at all times of the day and the facilities from the top floor are fantastic especially the pool with sea views.

The location is around 10 minutes on the bus to the old town and a short walk to local tavernas and supermarket.

The beach is beautiful and again a short walk down the dirt track.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful relaxing experience.

    We will be back.

  5. Fantastic hotel with great service and nice location. While you have to walk up and down the road it is less than 5 minutes to get to the beach and small shops and food. Rooms are lovely, comfy beds and very spacious. The pool area is great and the views are incredible. Highly reccomend, Only thing I would change was our transfer service from the airport organised by the hotel, we later found out that the bus is accesible for £3 per person.
