Lovely place. However the room was not what you’d expect of a 4 stars hotel. Ancient air-conditioning, outdated bathroom and the couples rooms…single beds added together. No iron, only ironing service that was not cheap.
However the food was very good and the service amazing. At the bar we could’ve done with some menus that has a list of things included for all inclusive. We ended up paying for cocktails as we were told what the cocktails in the all inclusive menus were.
There was one girl on reception with red hair and she was amazing. She smiled all the time and was so helpful that made out stay 10x better. I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name. She work afternoons/evenings while we were there
She was a sweetheart.
This is a 3 star hotel AT BEST. Rooms are small and things like AC don’t work. We had to switch rooms once because the AC broke and our friends had the same issue. It’s 15 minutes from the beach and coming back in 40 degree heat up a hill is horrible. There is a shuttle but it’s usually full with people arguing to get on. The shuttle also broke down. There’s food but often cheap things, pasta, cheap sausages, french fries, etc. The evening entertainment is “meh”Staff was very nice though. Overall not worth the money unfortunately.
3 star at best.
Our room was small, the AC was very old and after a power-out, it stopped working. They gave us a fan for the first night, then moved us after some begging. (They do have lovely reception staff who was so nice to me when I nearly broke down with heat exhaustion). For some reason the toilet seats don’t stay up. I think they cut corners there and purchased some cheap seats. I’ve never been anywhere where I had to hold up my own toilet seat! The power cut out every day (thankfully came back on after an hour or 2).
Our package included breakfast and dinner, not lunch though. The buffet was typical cheap food (bread, rice, pasta, some fruit/vegis – all stuff you can get cheap). I was suprised to find you had to purchase all your water. Not expensive (only 1euro/bottle), I’d have preferred to pay a little more and just be able to access drinking water at need. Every meal time we needed to stock up on bottled water due to the heat.
The pool was nice, but I don’t know why they closed the splash pool most of the day. The life guard was more interested in her phone than watching swimmers, so it wasn’t a safety issue. The little kids play room needs a wee upgrade on the toys. My kid was happy, but every single toy was broken. It wouldn’t be a big expense to upgrade some toys.
The massage was amazing, highly recommend!
DO NOT drink at the bar. I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning from my drink because it was the only thing I had different from my family and I was the only one who got sick. Not sure if it was bad milk (I had a piña colada), or the ice. The staff there were uncecessarily rude. Not just to me, I heard them being rude to a bunch of kids too.
There is a van to take you down to the beach, which was great, but they never told us that the sheltered seats where the van drops you off were part of Atrium, so we paid until the staff there told us it was free. It wouldn’t have been hard to tell us where we could go. The van driver was rude to me, and didn’t turn on the AC until he started driving, which meant (because getting van space was a competition), you’d sit sweating away for 10minutes before he drove off. … the van also broke down and the guy just shrugged, like “it’s not my problem”.
The worst part (and easiest fix) was the communication. Every place i’ve ever stayed, has a little booklet with some useful information. How the internet works, food hours, entertainment, local attractions, how to get around. People tell you how things work, explain stuff. This place had nothing. Most of the time I relied on stumbling around or going without.
A good attempt, but 4-stars? NO.
Rooms are nice. Perfect for kids – disco for kids and other entertainments.
The food is not ok for a 4 star hotel. Neither the variety nor the quality of the food is 4 star.
Really nice family vacation with 2 and 6 year old kids at this cozy hotel. Looked for resort with a lot to do for kids, easy all-inclusive with good pool area.
Room was spacious, cleaning worked well, staff were friendly everywhere to make us feel comfortable. Animation team hosts were really fun and professional. We found tasty options for every meal.
People tend to find something to nag just for the sake of nagging, but especially from value against money point of view this was excellent experience.
Waterpark for kids was blockbuster. Beachvolley court was next to it and games were organised daily. Also tennis court, basketball and football was available.
